Improve the process

Thesis: I consider myself a person obsessed with maintaining a perfect process. What if we could improve the current process for many occupations in the Darden Corporation? What if we could make the process better, more efficient, and raise overall customer satisfaction? I am here today to introduce a first in server technology. Wait staff personal pda.

    I. This device will give the current process a turbo charged strategy. With a simple tweak in the process I was able to provide a little grease to the serving process.

A. Turbo charged strategy1. Breadstick efficiency improvement 2. Speed up baking process

B. Improve the process with the idea of the wait staff pda.

1. It is a personal mobile device that puts the power of the scattered computer stations in the palm of the server, bartender, cook, hostess, and manager.

2. It allows for immediate transactions.3. Faster food input and out put. Coordinated seating systems. Quicker manager response times. Ultimately a much better lubrication to the system.

    II. No longer will a server have to carry a pen and paper to take down an order. The current computer software will transfer right over to the pdas. Making them easy to use, and easy to teach others how to use.

A. Hostesses are now able to see what tables are open, Food will be directed to the cooking line instantaneous.

B. Managers now have the ability, at a glance, know that all the essential processes are coordinating efficiently.

    III. How do I know that? Because of the network generated by the wait staff pdas. It tells all this essential information in the palm of your hand. Almost like a speedometer in your car.

A. Im not saying this device provides wisdom and grants divine power. Im just saying there is valuable information available providing knowledge.B. It is up to us to use that knowledge so wisdom can be generated.
