• Open to all residents in Greater Houston

• Age requirement 18 and older with a diagnosis of prediabetes or diabetes

• Closed group makes it easier to monitor and increases accountability among participants.

• Closed groups also allow safe place for participants to share their experiences.

• Action Work Group members comprise and moderate the administration team on Facebook

• Moderators also include healthcare providers with diabetes expertise

• Currently there is plenty of daily activity with an excellent mix of member and moderator contributions
