The 6th Annual Practical Topics in Pediatric Emergency Medicine will be a three-day live program held at the beautiful Marriott Suites on Sand Key in Clearwater Beach, Florida. This year’s conference will feature didactic presentations by faculty at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and will also include a Friday pre-conference workshop entitled, “Collaborative Care: Psychiatry, Psychology and Pediatrics.”

After attending this activity, participants will demonstrate the ability to:• Recognize common

emergency procedures that may cause harm due to delay in care.

• Incorporate psychiatric and psychological best practices to increase patient well-being within emergent scenarios.

• Translate simulation- based training into practice to improve patient outcomes.

Accreditation StatementThis activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the Florida Board of Nursing. The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
