This is a lecture reference booklet. Compiled by Muhammad Shaikh. It is in accordance with

The Quran under the topic set by the speaker with the help of Allah. He recites these

verses during the course of the lecture and read their translation to establish an understanding

of the verses. Inside the booklet on the one side are the Arabic verses and on the

corresponding page are their translation in English language.

INTRODUCTION

The aim of this booklet is to introduce the reader to the topic from the Qur’an. It can be studied on its own and it also complements the video lecture of the same topic which accompanies it.

The booklet contains ayaat (Qura’nic verses) pertaining to the topic as discussed in the video lecture in a question and answer format. Questions are raised, and their answers are given by the ayaat. The ordering and numbering of the ayaat corresponds with those on the lecture which can be downloaded from the video lectures section of IIPC website: www.iipccanada.com

The Qura’nic references provided herein are not exhaustive but offer the core essence of the subject. The references that have been excluded in this publication can be researched using any good concordance and it will be discovered that the selection introduced in this publication will harmonize the entire sequence. It is hoped that Muslim readers willmemorize these ayaat along with their Arabic text and engage in Da’wah (propagation of Islam) to their friends and colleagues, and also be able to recite the same in their Salah (prayer). ABOUT INTERNATIONAL ISLAMIC PROPAGATION CENTER.

And this Al-Quran / The Reading is not that can be produced from other than Allah, but it is a confirmation that is between his two hands and an explanation of Al-Kitab / The Book, there is no doubt in it from the Lord of the worlds.

83.And that was Our reasoning that We gave to Ibraheem (pbuh) (to use) over his people. We raise the grades whom We will. Surely your Lord is Wise, Knowledgable.

And We granted Ishaaq (pbuh) and Yaqoob (pbuh) for him. We guided all and from before We guided Nooh (pbuh) and from his offsprings (We guided) Dawood (pbuh) and Sulaiman (pbuh) and Ayub (pbuh) and Yusuf (pbuh) and Moosa (pbuh) and Haroon (pbuh). And likewise We reward those who do good.

And Zakariya (pbuh) and Yahya (pbuh) and Essa (pbuh) and Ilyas (pbuh). All were from those who correct themselves.

And from their fathers / ancestors and from their offspring and from their brethren and We selected and We guided them to the straight path.

They believe with Allah and the last day and they order with what is acknowledged and to forbid about the disguised and they hasten in good works. And they are from those who correct.

And when Allah took a covenant with those who were given Al-Kitab / The Book that definitely you will clarify it for mankind and you will not hide it. So they threw it away behind their backs and purchased with it a little price. So they made a bad bargain / purchase.

And how could you rejectand the ayats / signs of Allah are recited over you and His messenger is in you.And whoever holds with Allah then without doubt he has been guided towards the straight path.

99. Say, O’ people of the book ! Why do you oppose those who believe about the way of Allah you seek a deviation in it and you are witnesses. And Allah is not unaware about what you do.

71.O’ people of the book! Why you cover the truth with falsehood and you hide the truth and you know it.

The majority Ahlal-Kitab / The People of the Book intends they may turn you back to rejection after you have believed, it is the jealousy from the nearness of their selves / souls / psyches after the truth is clear to them. So forgive and shake handsuntil Allah comes with His order. Surely Allah has power over everything.

100.O’ you who believe ! If you follow a division from those who are given the book, they will turn you back as rejecters after you have believed.

Come to a word that is equal between us and you that we serve none except Allah, and that we do not associate anything with Him and that we do not take from us Lords other than Allah. Then if they turn back then say, you bear witness that surely we are muslims / submitters.

And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord and Al-Kitab / The Book will be placed. And an-nabeeyeen / the prophets and ash-shuhada / the witnesess will be brought forward and with truth (the matter) will be ended between them, and they will not be oppressed.

What, has not the time arrived for those who believe, that their hearts humble for the remembrance of Allah and what is revealed from the truth. It is He who has revealed Al-Kitab / The Book over you. In it are muhkamat / governing ayats / signs. They are the mother of Al-Kitab / The Book and others are mutashabehat / resembling (ayats / signs). So in whose hearts is deviation then they follow that resembles from it seeking its captivation and its interpretation and no one knows its interpretation except Allah. And those who are stable in knowledge they say, we believe with it all is from the nearness of our Lord. And no one remembers except those who possess the core. (i.e. innermost part of anything).

We have been taught from the childhood that the Taurah was given to Moses (p.b.u.h.) and Injeel to Jesus (p.b.u.h.) and zaboor to Dawood (p.b.u.h.) which is in the form of bible with the christian world. And Quran was revealedto Mohammad (p.b.u.h.) which exist with the muslim world. It concludes that there were four books in contradiction to what you have explained as one book. Can you clarify?

43.And how can they govern you and At-Taurah / The Law is near them, in it is hukum / governance of Allah. Then after that they turn away and they are not with the believers.

Surely We have revealed At-Taurah / The Law (i.e. Hukum / The Governance of Allah containing all the governing ayats/signs) in it is guidance and light, an-nabeeyoon / the prophets who submitted govern with it for those who are hadoo / lenient / jews and Ar-rabba-neeoon / the lords and Al-ahbar / the scholars (govern with it), with what they were required to become the hafiz (i.e. those who memorize from the book of Allah), and they are witnesses over it. Then fear not mankind and fear Me and do not purchase My ayats / signs with a little price. And who do not govern with what Allah has revealed, then they are kafiroon / rejecters.

And We rhymed the following over their effects with Essa / Jesus (pbuh) the son of Maryam / Mary (pbuh) confirming from At-Taurah / The Law(i.e. Hukum / The Governance of Allah containing all the governing ayats / signs) that is between his two hands and We gave him Al-Injeel / The Good News in it is guidance and light, and confirming from At-Taurah / The Law(i.e. Hukum / Governance of Allah containing all the governing ayats / signs), that is between his two hands and a guidance and sermon for muttaqueen / those who guard.

47. And let Ahlal-Injeel / people of the good news (i.e. Muttaqeen / those who guard)govern with what Allah has revealed in it. And who do not govern with what Allah has revealed, then they are fasiqoon / liberals.

Say, O' Ahlal-kitab / People of the Book ! you are not on anything unless you establish At-Taurah / The Law and Al-Injeel / The good news and what is revealed from your Lord to all of you. And what is revealed from your Lord to you definitely increases amongst the majority of them in tyranny (i.e. unjustly harsh, cruel) and rejection. Then you do not grieve over the people who reject.

105.And without doubt We havewritten in Az-Zaboor / The Pieceafter the remembrance that surely the inheritors of the earth will be my servants who correct themselves.
