GENIUS HOUR: According to research, when people spend 80% of their time onacademics and the remaining 20% on exploration/down-time, it allows for deeperconnections and greater discoveries. Google uses this strategy and has had GREATtechnologies/software come from it. I would like to employ this with our campers. Ask

them all about it during Table Talk tonight. I am really excited to see the outcome of this!SUMMER READING: Join Junie B. Jones free summer reading program and receive aFREE book! http://myfrugaladventures.com/2013/05/free-junie-b-jones-childrens-book/

Our campers are enjoying the many feathered friends weve seen coming to the feeder wehave just outside our window. Ive been bringing in bread crusts for the kids to throw out tothe birds during recess time and they love it! If theyd like to bring a piece in as well, great!

The family trees we saw this week were SO COOL! Thank you for spending time with yourcampers on this project. It is one of our important Social Studies GLCEs and a tough one tolearn about. Actually making one has really helped their understanding ofgenerations.

Remember, if you have had any address or phone number changes, please send them in on

a piece of paper. I will begin updating your childrens files for the end of the year and willneed all current information. Thanks!

THANK YOU for the many goodies I received during Teacher Appreciation Week. Yourkindness and appreciation does not go unnoticed! If Ive forgotten to thank anyone, Iapologize. Youre such awesome parents and your children and I are blessed to have you!

Looking forward to the week ahead,
