6Concept et dveloppement

Depuis des annes, Oikos collabore avec les designers Adriani & Rossi pour le dveloppement de nouveaux produits et la recherche sur des matriaux innovants.

Stefano Adriani et Paolo Rossi, designers anticonformistes et rebelles, signent depuis longtemps des projets et des objets dun style unique, avec une vision spciale de lesthtique contemporaine. Exprimentateurs, mi-chemin entre lart et le design, ils dessinent des objets et des meubles aux lignes prcises, avec une prdilection particulire pour la recherche au niveau des matriaux et des finitions. Comme les matres datelier dautrefois, ils sont la fois designers, artistes, architectes, artisans, photographes et scnographes toujours en quilibre entre imagination et conception, libert dexpression et technique savante. Ils inventent des objets capables de crer des atmosphres et des motions, dans une optique de flexibilit qui en fait des protagonistes indmodables. Un mlange que leur devise rsume parfaitement : ides fraches et produits longue conservation.

Concept and development Oikos has been collaborating with the designers Adriani & Rossi for the development of new products and the research on innovative materials for many years.Stefano Adriani and Paolo Rossi, unconventional and rebel designers, have been signing - for many years now - unmistakable projects and items that offer a special view of contemporary aesthetics. Experimenters, always suspended between art and design, they draw objects and furnishing featuring clear lines, with a special focus on the research of materials and finishes. As old workshop masters, they are at the same time designers, artists, architects, artisans, photographers and scenographers, always keeping their balance between imagination and design, expressive freedom and skilled technique. PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS

BREAK-IN RESISTANCE CLASS 3It is the ability to withstand break-in attempts measured by applying stresses with static and dynamic loads and simulating break-in attempts carried out with manual tools such as a crowbar, screwdrivers, pliers, etc. for a maximum test time duration of 20 minutes.

ACOUSTICIt is measured in dB and is the ability to prevent noise from passing through the door (soundproofing). The higher the indicated value, the better the soundproofing capacity.

THERMALIt is indicated with a U, it is measured in [W/(mk)] and is the ability to prevent heat exchange between two areas separated by the door. The nearer the indicated value is to 0, the better the ability to prevent heat from passing from the hottest area to the coldest one.

POIGNE AVEC PETITE PORTE

Pour raliser la totale coplanarit de la porte Synua, le centre de recherches Oikos a cr une poigne spciale avec mcanismes invisibles. Systme d'ouverture brevet. Dans la photo la petite porte intgre parfaitement la poigne de la porte.

BTON DE TIRAGE COURT

A l'extrieur Synua prvoit le choix du bton de tirage qui peut tre long ou court. Dans la photo on montre le bton de tirage court horizontal.

INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE KITThanks to the fitting kit, the installer can avail himself of the sealed building site key, fitting instructions, accessories and hardware. The purchaser is standard supplied with cloth, cleaning products and anything needed to maintain Synua always at its best.

ADJUSTABLE PIVOT MECHANISMThe opening/closing mechanism does not work using traditional hinges fastened to the frame, but rather exploiting a vertical pivot, i.e. two pins placed at the ends, which are adjustable and fully concealable. The leaf, by rotating on itself, allows a greater and brighter opening.

ALUMINUM COVERING PROFILESAluminum with brushed steel finish covers the frame and the door profile. There is not any visible screw; this detail assures complete cleaning and refined aesthetics.

THERMAL BREAKThe use of a mat made of heat insulating material, positioned on the whole surface of the door, allows limiting the thermal bridge between the internal covering of the door and its metal structure.

COPLANARITY OF THE DOORThe pivot opening allows the perfect coplanarity between door and wall. Everything is integrated in the leaf, handle included.
