Plan:• Will this adventure be part of a larger outing,
like a canoeing or hiking trip?• When and where will you go? How can you
know if there’s some chance of finding gold where you intend to pan?
• What gear do you need?• What skills should you have an
understanding of?
Do:• Get out and pan for gold!
Review: • What do you know now that you did not
know before?• How would you describe your efforts and results?• How did you feel before, during, and after
the activity?• How did the team get along? Why?• How can you build on what you’ve learned?• What would you do differently next time?
