The Software PAMAS CMDM provides a clear and visual data-base structure for easy handling and storage of particle counting results from different measuring sources.

Digital pictures of oil samples on membrane filters of microscopic analyses may also be stored in the database of PAMAS CMDM

PAMAS CMDM Software for Oil Condition Monitoring

The software PAMAS CMDM was developed as a tool for oil contamination control and preventive maintenance in hydraulic and lubricating oil systems. The software records and analyses the measuring results of the particle counters PAMAS S40 and PAMAS SBSS.

The software PAMAS CMDM shows measuring results in tables and graphs.

Furthermore, PAMAS CMDM contains a database to organise the measuring results of various sources:

results of the portable particle counter PAMAS S40

results of the laboratory particle counter PAMAS SBSS (measured with software PAMAS PMA)

digital pictures of membrane filtered oil samples for micro-scopic analyses according to ISO 4407

All defined measuring points are displayed in a clearly arranged list on the screen of the particle counter.

The operator just has to follow the route list displa-yed on the PAMAS S40. The instrument will then measure according to the programmed parameters of each measuring point. It is impossible to tamper with this settings in routing mode: the particle counter is automatically set up correct-ly for each single measure-ment point. This avoids wrong measuring results due to inappropriate sampling. The operator mayonly repeat measurements which do not seem to be correct.

The measurement data of each single measuring point, stored in the particle coun-ter PAMAS S40, may be downloaded afterwards on the PC the results can now be evaluated, stored and printed with the software PAMAS CMDM.

Trend Monitoring:As a tool for preventive main-tenance, the software PAMAS CMDM provides a clear and quick way to control measured particle numbers and contami-nation levels (cleanliness classes according to ISO 4406) over time for each selected measu-ring point.

With its trend monitoring function, the software PAMAS CMDM upgrades the particle counters PAMAS S40 and PAMAS SBSS to instruments for long-term condition monitoring.

routing Mode: Combined with the software PAMAS CMDM, the porta-ble particle counter PAMAS S40 can be operated in routing mode.

A routing list with up to 20 measuring points may be programmed on the PC and uploaded to the particle counter before tests com-mence. Different measuring parameters for each measu-ring point are pre-defined and uploaded with the route liste.
