To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must be enrolled full- time and maintain a 3.25 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. •The Chamber of Commerce would like to thank Bill Kell for his continued support of Eagle Lake and its organizations. Mr. Kell's gener- ous offer to permit the Chamber to erect the "Welcome to Eagle Lake" sign on his property is a great show of support of the community. Contri- butions like Mr. Kell's keep this com- munity going. Thank you, Mr. Kell! •It has been reported by a long- time resident of this area that people are eating and drinking in the Lake- side Cemetery, then leaving the trash for others to pick up. First of all, it is a CEMETERY, not a park! Second, wasn't everyone taught to pick up after themselves in kindergarten? Please, have a little respect for those buried there and their families!

ABOUT TOWN..

•The Dean's List for the 2002 Spring semester has been announced at San Angelo University. Among the honorees was Lai nee Renee Labay of Eagle Lake taking interdisciplinary studies.
