tally chart onto a paper and have it ready before the live session so we can record all the
information together.
It should look like this:
After recording all the information, we are going to make a pictogram with the survey results.
Remember, a pictogram must always have a key to let us know what each of the icons
represents and a title. Here is some examples:

Science
This week we are learning about the different
types of energy around us and their sources.
Energy is the ability to do work. Energy is how
things change and move. It is all around us
and comes in lots of forms! It takes energy to
cook and eat, walk, turn on lights, warm up,
listen, and to jump in the air!
1. Watch this video
2. Think about the following:
How many types of energy did they mention?
Where did each type of energy come from?
For example, light and heat can come from
the sun.
3. Draw a simple poster showing the types of
energy you learned about in the video. (Hint –
light, heat, electrical, water and wind) Can
you add any more?
Expressive Arts
People were often buried with a mask in
Ancient Egypt after mummification.
A very famous mask that was discovered was
that of the pharaoh Tutankhamun!
Do you remember that he was one of the
youngest Pharaohs?
Follow this link where you will find a mask
template. You can draw it out and design your
own Ancient Egypt mask like Tutankhamun!
Social StudiesThis is our final week to learn about Ancient
Egypt! We have learned a lot about Ancient
Egypt over the past few weeks but the most
important thing we learned is that we must use
reliable evidence to learn about the past.
Discuss your learning with a helper about all that
we covered:
• Archaeologists and artefacts
• Where Ancient Egypt was located• Daily life in Ancient Egypt• Hieroglyphs and the number system
• Pharaohs, Gods and Godesses
• Pyramids and Jewellery
Task: Use the template to design a Learning
Poster about Ancient Egypt to show your
learning. This should include information about
what you have learned and what you would like
to know more about. We can put these on
display in the classroom when we return
R.ELearning Intention: We are learning
about Lent.
Task 1: Listen to the story
called “The Parabole
Of the Prodigal Son”
(Luke 15:11-32). This story
teach us about God’s love. Do you think
the father in this story is just like God?
Why?
Task 2: It is great to know that even
when we make bad choices, God
always welcomes us back. Complete
the comprehension task attached in the
files section about the story.
Task 3: When you hear the word Lent,
what picture comes to mind? Maybe
purple, fish, ashes or fasting? Make a
poster to show what lent looks like for
you.
P.E.Skill: Sprinting.
Sprinting on the spot- Can you do 1 minute
without stopping? Can you do it with 1 minute
without stopping when you focus on getting
your knees as high as possible?
Sprinting outside- How far can your run in 1
minute? Do you keep the same pace for the
whole minute?
Try crouching down in the starting position.
Does this affect your speed/how far you go?
Does it matter what you wear on your feet?
STEM challenge
With adult supervision challenge yourself to try
some new skills in STEM:
Homemade Lava Lamp
Modern LanguagesLearn some of the words for different types of
food in Spanish by listening to this song.
After listening to the song you could:
• post a little video/write sentences
explaining what you have for breakfast,
lunch or dinner.
“Yo desayuno platano y huevo”
• draw pictures of food and label the
pictures with the Spanish words you have
learnt.
Health and Wellbeing
We are starting a new unit of our Building
Resilience programme: Have a Goal.
In this unit we will be looking at
the importance of setting and
pursuing meaningful goals. When
we make progress on things that
are important to us to achieve we
are more satisfied with our lives and report
higher levels of wellbeing.
Family Task
Set a goal together to be completed within
two weeks. Think about what you can use to
help you and agree how you will celebrate
once you have achieve it.
