Reading aloud Show the cover and read the title and author / illustrator of the book. explain the reason why this book is chosen While teacher is reading aloud, students are required to pay attention. Video Play a video to strengthen children’s understanding after reading aloud session. Stop at major points and ask children some questions. For example : "Who is telling the story?" or "What do you think that person wants us to think?" (Chafel et al. 2007) Flash card After reading the book, teacher will show some flash cards with illustrations available of that book. Then, teacher will ask some questions and children will answer according to their understanding of the story. If children answer correctly, candy will be given as a reward.
