to discuss with Amanda at Tax Quest some kind of policy. Pastor indicated that Gayleen opens all the bills, invoices to Tax Quest, trustees approve/deny sign and send on

2. There was approval for $1000 to Shelby Stolze, this is just a reminder that will be given to her this month

3. District Convention will be May 15, 2015. Jason and Pastor Lee will be attending for one day. They will be voting for synodical President.

4. CorrespondenceSt. John Letter included for reviewConcordia Seminary and Nebraska District office both sent letters commending us for our number of adult confirmands. We were ranked 3 out of 600 churches.

5. Staff – Discussion on where Jordan’s office will be should he accept our call. Discussing using the room across the hall from Trish.Discussion over staff policy and children. Pastor Lee will discuss with Staff.

Jim Nord:- All committee meetings going great. Have received great feedback from the congregation.- Will be voting at the next meetings on which option to suggest to the congregation.

New BusinessHousekeeping:

- BLM at 10:30 services: Always need at least one BLM at the 10:30am traditional side no later than 10:15am to hand out bulletins, light candles, etc. Mark C. suggested we find more volunteers to greet.

- Communion Trays: be careful using the new communion trays. Do not stack new & old trays on each other – they do not stack well together. Always make sure to wash the communion trays after all the services – they get sticky after using them.

Position Title: Secretary

Principal Function:The Secretary of Our Savior Lutheran Church is the principal staff member responsible for organizing and executing all aspects of clerical activities for the congregation.

Relationships:In policy and management, the Secretary is accountable for the church office, its organization and function. The Secretary reports to the Administrative Pastor.With staff and volunteer servants, the Secretary supports and assists with information, materials, and supplies to effectively carry out ministry plans.In professional practice, the Secretary performs all duties in accordance with God’s Word and maintains the highest consistency of respect, integrity, and courtesy.In availability, the Secretary demonstrates a maximum level of reliability with respect to office hours, and a willingness to serve as circumstances and opportunities necessitate.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Receptionist: Display a calm, courteous and professional demeanora. Personally greet staff, members, and visitorsb. Provide information and respond to inquiriesc. Answer telephones, sort mail, send faxes

2. Information Organization: Maintain current and accurate filesa. Data Entry and Oversight

1. Membership (date of birth, baptism, marriage, attendance, employment, contact information, skills, interests, abilities, congregational involvement, etc.)2. Searches (first-time visitors, membership changes, etc.)
