"HAVANA NIGHTS" AUCTION ENDLESS THANKS!: Thank you to our phenomenal Auction chairs for another fabulous OLA Auction! Elisabeth Gustorf, Tina Hartman, and Courtney Mikacich, you ladies knocked it out of the park! We can't thank you enough for your dedication, tireless work, and passion for this event, which showed through in every detail of the night. We also appreciate all of the work that our amazing sub chairs and workforce devoted to this event to make it such a fun evening! Still Available: There are still a few baskets available to bid on as well as parties to sign up for in the school office. All items purchased at the auction should be picked up from the office by now. If you have not picked up your items, please do so ASAP, as the school cannot be responsible for holding them beyond today. Raffle Ticket Sales Follow-up: First, we want to thank every single person that was involved in making the Raffle Ticket Sales successful. We were able to sell more tickets this year than our prior year, because our students, families, teachers, and staff were so heavily involved and dedicated. The children were overly excited to see their class percentage changed on a daily basis. We were overwhelmed with our school’s contributions and involvement. We'd also like to point out that there are A LOT of little sales people at our school! Our raffle prize winners were announced at our Auction on Saturday, and our winners are: $5,000 - Colleen and Glenn McWilliams $1,000 - Denise and Robert Pratt $500 - Rosemary and John Ross The Mikacich family sold the most tickets and have won a Family Night treat: Dinner and homework passes! On Thursday, October 19, 5th and 6th grade were neck and neck with 81% of class participation, with 2nd grade at 82%. At the close of the school day on Friday, October 20th, 2nd, 5
th, and 6th grades exceeded the 85% goal, and all
three classes will be rewarded with an IN-N-OUT party! As a school, we sold 7,673 tickets. After paying out all prize money, we were able to raise a little over $24,000! Our school participation total was 78% -- a bit short of our 85% goal. While we did not win inflatables and sundaes we'd like to acknowledge the efforts made by our Preschool - 8th graders and give them all a special treat in the coming week. Grade totals: 8th grade: 80% 7th grade: 69% 6th grade: 91% 5th grade: 92% 4th grade: 68% 3rd grade: 76% 2nd grade: 94% 1st grade: 79% Kindergarten: 84% Preschool (goal of 1 book per family): 127% Thank you all again! It takes a village--and we are grateful that you are all a part of it! Marcia Broderick & Veronica Castaneda, Raffle Ticket Chairs
