European Union Projects
in our organisation
Since 2001 we have entered the world of the EU projects
At present we coordinate one big project and are partner in 7 other
various projects in the framework of: Socrates Grundtvig, Socrates
Minerva and Leonardo da Vinci.
Grundtvig Award 2001:2003(1st Grundtvig Award in Adult education - EAEA)
Together with project coordinator – Mr Gareth Long, we were invited to receive the first annual Grundtvig award for excellence granted by the European Association for the Education of Adults.
The award was handed out during the conference in Cyprus in November 2003 with participation of 150 people from 34 countries.
We have won the competition with 1200 projects.

Developing Female Entrepreneurs

The main aim of the project is to Develop Female Entrepreneurs by developing training modules that will assist the women to overcome barriers and establish their own enterprises in each of the partner countries.
Project partners are from England, Romania and Poland.

Oasis is a project network whose main aim is to promote the adoption of the principle of Gender Mainstreaming in training strategies which are targeted at adults.
There are 16 partners from the following countries involved in the project: Italy, Spain, France, Slovenia, Germany, England, Poland and the Netherlands.

Inclusive Practices for Learners with Disabilities Metodyka nauczania dorosłych z niepełnosprawnością sensoryczną
Two-years project promoted by the Centre of Continuing Education in Sopot in the cooperation with 12 partners from 9 countries.
Project is directed to:- disabled adult learners,- teachers, trainers, support workers working with disabled,- educational policy makers
The aim of the project is analysis and comparison of situation of sensorily disabled in the following countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Spain, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Great Britain and Italy.

Gender specific aspects of violence preventionGSAPV - Zapobieganie Przemocy

„GSAVP“ was developed as a result of the Grundtvig 1 project „Prevention of violence – communication training and conflict resolution”. As such, it is based on the structure and the outcomes of this project. One of the aim is to develop and test a GRUNDTVIG 3 – training course on violence prevention.
Partnership: Germany, Spain, Polan, Latvia, Ireland, (originally also the UK)
Target groups: educational staff in adult education and young adults between 16 and 25 years of age.

Community Orientated Recognised Activities CORA - Wolontariat w środowisku lokalnym
The overall aim of this project is to promote and enhance the recognition of volunteering as a valuable resource in the provision of services across the Community and to help improve the quality of service provided by volunteers.
The target groups for this project will be volunteers working in different fields from the following countries: United Kingdom, Romania, Greece, Poland , Netherlands and Bulgaria .

"Yo-Pro - Youth Work in Progress„Lider młodzieżowy
2004:2006Ref. No: No 2003-N/03/B/PP-165.005
The Yo-Pro Project has as its objective the development of a model for the vocational training of youth workers and leaders.
The project is promoted by Trondheim City Council – Norway in cooperation with partners from England, Italy, Poland and Sweden.
Each partner is responsible for the development of one educational module addressed to youth workers that is to be shared and tested with all other partners.

Youth programme – Action 2, European Voluntary service
In CCE since 2003
The YOUTH programme is the EU’s mobility and non-formal education programme targeting young people aged between 15 and 25 years. The Programme is open to youth in 31 European countries.
The YOUTH programme offers possibilities to young people in the form of both group exchanges and individual volountary woek, as well as support activities.

SECOND CHANCE SCHOOL
Second Chance School’s act in the field of learning
young people with lack of skills or qualifications to
successfully gaining access to higher education
programmes or to the labour market.
These kind of schools exist already in many
countries for example in Netherlands and United
Kingdom. SCS are absolutely new kind of schools
which motivate, teach vocation and give new
qualifications.
Using experience of our partners since 2001 we
started to make efforts to create this kind of
school in Sopot.
