Our Global Team – transforming people and businesses, like no other

Page 2: Our Global Team – transforming people and businesses, like no other

In a world of coaches and trainers and business schools that are hard to differentiate, here is this multi-award winning boutique consultancy.

Where the consultants are the elders and leaders of the industry, with over 20 years’ top-end experience.

Where the team leaders have the highest accreditations and qualifications.

Where their clients are happy to give named, titled testimonials.

Page 3: Our Global Team – transforming people and businesses, like no other

Our team

The quality of our people is our USPWe have the leaders and ambassadors of the industry on our team – including past-founding Presidents of the professional associations. We have written over 120 peer reviewed journal articles between us, had over 50 books on leadership, development and coaching published by large publishers and many Chapter Presidents around the world of the ICF. We have the Head of the Navy, the Head of the SAS, Generals, Fellow Chartered Psychologists, Certified Management Consultants, Certified Counsellors and senior executives from corporate life.

Our recruitment process is resoundingly rigorousWe assess and develop against the values of the business and the core competencies of our industry. We gather and triangulate evidence on prospective associates and only the best are invited into the virtual assessment centre.

All of those who pass are good, very good. We don’t recruit to fill gaps, we only recruit against our very high standards. We don’t have a single coach or consultant or speaker or actor who is merely at base-level competence.

Our commitment to Continuous Professional Development is unparalledTwice a month, associates invest two hours in a whole-company discussion on leading edge thought and in pods of six people, one from each region, in more intimate forums. In those forums we engage in the kind of CPD (continuous professional development) that is just not seen in any other business. We run a coaching session and receive candid and constructive feedback from each other – so we gain a true understanding of how we land on people from different cultures. We build our ongoing capability like this and we, through time, build the trust, respect and openness needed to work together collaboratively. It means the client can ‘pick a pod’ to run a global leadership development and that pod will know and trust one another and be truly diverse.

Are we value? AbsolutelyOur ROI is way beyond figures of our competitors.

HUMAN SYSTEMS HAS ALWAYS AND ONLY RECRUITED PEOPLE WHO FIRSTLY MEET THE CRITERIA OF

OUR VALUES OF C.A.R.E. – CREATIVE, ACCESSIBLE (LEADING-EDGE KNOWLEDGE AND MAKES THEIR

KNOWLEDGE ACCESSIBLE TO ANY AUDIENCE), RESULTS ORIENTED (WE DON’T THINK IT IS GOOD

UNTIL IT HAS LANDED WELL AND PRODUCED THE RESULTS NEEDED) AND ENABLING (WHAT WE DO

DOESN’T ONLY WORK, IT HELPS PEOPLE FEEL GOOD ABOUT THEMSELVES AND OTHERS AS IT WORKS)

His clients include BAE Systems, Cadbury Schweppes, Royal Mail, IHG, Shell and Sky.

“Working with Ben as a coach has led to very tangible results in my work life. I’ve worked with a number of coaches in the past and the experiences have been good but lacked hardcore results. Ben makes it real. He’s very skilful at repositioning the question or encouraging you to think of things in a different way. His techniques are creative and fun and almost catch you off guard, which is exactly what is needed for meaning coaching sessions. At the end of the session, you realize that the answer was there the whole time and that Ben’s artful facilitation brought it to the surface. While it’s been almost an entire year since we’ve worked together, our work still remains fresh in my mind, as Ben has had a lasting impact.” Director – Investment Bank

Ann helped us with this by facilitating a World Cafe event which got all the companies working together to discuss meaty issues around the topic. Ann was a delight to work with; professional and engaging and she grasped the problem very quickly. The event was extremely well planned, insightfully delivered and absolutely nailed what we needed. “Joseph’s coaching process is to hold the mirror in front of you enabling you to decide what you want to change. He doesn’t instruct or advise but makes you choose! It is very rare to see a good mix of a consultant, counselor and business expert in one person and perhaps this is his uniqueness. So I would call him more than a Coach, may be an ‘Expert Coach’. I recommend Joseph to all those businessmen and professionals, irrespective of the size and substance of the business that you are in. If you genuinely wish to change, here is the person who can help you do so.” S. R. Nair, Managing Director – Team Frontline (and President of the Kerala Management Institute)

More importantly, Derrick was able to support me in finding out why I wanted to reach my goals in the first place. I was able to change my way of thinking, perspectives and behaviour for the better.

It always sounds easy when you are given the advice and opinions from another person, but you might not agree and may lose sight of the original problem. Derrick didn’t say what I should do. Instead he supported me to find what I wanted by myself. If I didn’t learn how to take responsibility for my thoughts and feelings, I might still be frustrated. GurpreetCERTIFIED COACH

Gurpreet was in Investment Banking for 14 years. She has a Masters in Economics & Management.

She worked as a financial analyst in GE. Then she went into HR and held roles as HRD with RBS & HSBC in India. She has worked in 15 countries in Asia Pacific. She has been living in Hong Kong for a few years. Her training as a coach was with Results Coaching (David Rock’s outfit) where she undertook both general and executive coaching modules.

She is trained as a Harrison Assessor in their battery of talent psychometrics.

“I began working with Gurpreet at the beginning of 2012. By March I had expressed a list of life goals, chosen which ones to focus on and had begun making progress on them. Now, only ten months later, I have lost the vague feeling of unachievement that had haunted me for years. Now I can point to a lengthy list of things achieved and good habits created. I know what my current projects are and where they sit in my overall objectives, and I know that the goals I’m not pursuing at the moment are not forgotten or lost, but will be started in their due time.

Gurpreet’s gentle coaching style works well for me, and the focus on creating new behaviours rather than trying to break the habits of a lifetime is much more successful than many of the alternatives I have tried. The biggest reward for me is to be able to say that thanks to Gurpreet’s guidance I am at last pursuing some of my dreams, rather than just dreaming about them.” David Mather, Head of Core Banking, Global Change Delivery, HSBC.
