Director of Operations. Miner Enterprises, Powerbrace RPD Division. Oct 2016 – To date (3 months) Structured a Business Unit Model in the Facility, dividing the entire plant into 3 units, each one with its own structure and metrics. No extra personnel were required for this project. Looking for future expansions and future business out of our actual core ones. Plant Manager. Miner Enterprises, Powerbrace RPD Division. May 2014 – To date (2.5 years) Structured a Strategic Planning for Powerbrace RPD Division, creating a Vision, Mission, Policies, Strategic goals and measures for monitoring and improving. Created the Social Responsibility program. Justified a Powder coating line for RPD (4million USD total Investment), with proven success after 10 months of operation. Coordinate a team that has achieved world class manufacturing metrics in 2015 Structured a plan for a Human Work Environment. From Aug 04 to Date, in charge of the Manufacturing Technologies Department: Maintenance,
Manufacturing (process), and Tooling.
Teamed with the USA to close Kenosha WI. Operations and re locate them at Saltillo Mexico.
In charge of the machinery installation at Saltillo Plant.
Product Engineering Support: We have introduced more than 30 different Products in 10 years.

New building construction coordination and support: Concrete, Structure, overhead crane system.
Machinery installation: Welding machines (Miller, and Fronius TPS4000), Bystronic Press brakes,
and Trumpf Co2 Laser cutting cell: Trulaser 3030.
Process start up: Design and layout of 5 production lines: 2 lines according to the old school of massive
production, few change overs, and the three remaining lines were conceived using lean manufacturing
concepts, of high flexibility, SMED (1 hour changeover, for welding fixtures)
Team development: Engineers and Technicians.
Team coaching: developed a Strategic Training together with a local coaching office, using horses.
Budget analysis: 4 accounts that summarizes 750 000 usd per year
Machinery and Infrastructure Justification: Justified a CO2 Laser cutting cell with a ROI of 1.5 years that paid in less than 1.
Training to new Crew members, in topics such as Fixture design, Leadership, Self-direction, decision making, 5’s, Kaizen, Kan Ban, OEE, LoTo.
Development of Process documentation: Formats, Procedures, Instructive, and Policies.
During my 9.5 years I have achieved the following:
100% implementation of the POWERBRACE RPD operation.
Achieved in 2 years a best in sector Uptime index, rising it from a 82%, to a 92%
Achieved in 6 years a BEST IN CLASS uptime Index, rising from 92% to a 95% overall, with a consistent 98% in the welding areas.
Achieved in 2006 the M1003 (ISO9000 rail equivalent) Certification as part of the implementation team.
Implemented a Patented system for insertion that saved 1 usd per unit produced, totalizing up to 220,000 usd per year in cost reduction.
