Archimandrite Ioannikeios Menidiatis (+6 March 2012) as novice John unveiled sometime a large abscess, size as or-ange, on his right armpit. Father suffered a lot but did not want to go to a doctor. "I will go to the Holy Father," he said with his thought.

Some time his Brotherhood instructed him along with an-other monk to carry some supplies from the monastery to the monastery of Theotokos and when they unloaded the stud, the other monk started to leave, without waiting for him. Sorrowful, father Ioannikeios was way back. Then- suddenly- came a nun from the Bishop’s Office (Despotiko), holding a glass of water.

- Which one of you is in pain? She asked.- I am, replied Fr Ioannikeios.

Then the nun, without saying anything, emptied his glass with water in the back of his neck! Once the water, blessed by St. Matthew, arrived in the armpit, the abscess disap-peared and the Father was healed!

The blessed Matthew, illuminated by the Holy Spirit, fore-saw not only the disease of the monk, but the desire to meet him to heal and he healed him with this simple and surprising way!

NEW- MARTYR CATHERINE IN MANDRA

On November 8, 1927, feast of the Holy Archangels, the Gen-uine Orthodox Christians were feasting the holy memory of the Holy Angels' Church in Mandra, Attica. Suddenly "law enforce-ment officials" are surrounding the church, by order of the

modernist schismatic Archbishop Chrysostom Papadopoulos, to capture the priests and to disperse the crowd of Orthodox be-lievers. On that historic day at the Church of Mandra was the Zealot Athonite (then) Hieromonk Saint Matthew the Confes-sor, who later became Archbishop of Athens of Church of G.O.C. of Greece and an another priest, who left the Church afraid of the presence of the gendarmes while the zealot St Matthew continued the Divine Liturgy until the end, and he escaped ar-

rest and he went unnoticed by the persecutors as he was cov-ered by the grace of God! The persecutors police rushed to ar-rest the priest ... The Orthodox believers react and obstacles stand in their antichristian actions. The police are starting to vi-olate against militants devout believers, beating them with butt (bats) brutally. From the injured believers, the most serious case is the young mother Catherine (Routtis) mother of two children. She transferred in bad condition in the hospital, where she reposed to Lord in amid cries of pain. So the young naive spatial woman joins the celestial Church of Christ as a martyr and confessor of the Orthodox Faith of Christ! “The Church (the New-Calendarist one) by it leaders caused the first fraternal blood. The hard butt of a policeman in Man-dra painted with the blood of a faithful of the old calendar, and sent to the grave a victim, a poor woman, insisting on delivery of the old calendar. The unfortunate spatial expired in a bed of "Evangelismos" hospital where she cries in pain from the wounds. And the victim of the old calendar while she gave her soul to the God she would had before her eyes the icon of Archangels where the censer of worship was burned at field day by the old calendar, and while she was in religious tasks, she agreed to head the butt of the policeman.

I asked: what is her crime to fall in the skull of the butt so that the burning censer for loyalty to sprayed with blood? Although God who took the ultimate soul of this unfortunate woman left the simplistic answer to be given by "His representative on earth", the Archbishop of Athens of new calendar and the con-troller of butt's brutality against people of Mandra, who insist the old calendar. While the freedom of worship of God are re-spected even in the wild natives, while the Greek Constitution, even this "democratic" one recognized the freedom of Old-Cal-endarists while the Orthodox of Old Calendar are loyal to wor-ship their feasts according their traditions, the butt of Arch-bishop of Athens is inflicted heavy against Old-Calendarists in Mandra, because essentially the butt of Ecumenist New-Calen-darism dyed with blood the Church in Mandra and she sent to

the grave the poor spatial woman. By its butt, by acts of vandal-ism, by the persecutions, by the police brutality and all that want the government and the Archbishop of Athens to impose the new calendar, to alter the religious order and to terrorize the people's consciousness?

Persecution of the Orthodox

They intend to offer the blood of the faithful of the old calen-dar on the altar of novelty of the new one. They mean to create martyrs and victims of the old calendar of medieval Terrorism. Therefore they intend to launch a storm of religious upheaval in

people's consciousness and to reap the fruits of the new calen-dar in blood, victims and believers of the old calendar? The ap-palling scenes of Mandra are the dreadful evidence of the de-plorable situation that was created by the New-Calendarism novelty, which the archbishop of Athens insisted and did. They divided people into two portions and opened up a huge gulf be-tween the traditions of the old calendar and the novelty of the gregorian, innovations are increasingly expanding into all for-mal and essential events of church life in Greece”...

HOW WE FAST

Great Lent: We eat oil and wine (It is meant Shellfish too) only every Saturday and Sunday. On the Feast of the Annunciation of Theotokos, we eat fish.Fast of Holy Apostles: We eat wine and oil at Tuesday and at Thursdays; on Saturday and on Sunday, we eat fish.

Fast of the Dormition of the Theotokos: We eat wine and oil only every Saturday and Sunday. On the feast of Transfiguration (6/8), we eat fish.Fast of Christmas: We eat every Tuesday and Thursday wine and oil, on Saturday and on Sundays, we eat fish.According to the Tradition, on Christmas’ Fast we eat Fish for the Entrance of the Theotokos (21/11) till the feast of St Spyridon (12/12)
