  • RUGGED AND PROVEN EQUIPMENT

SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR THE MINING INDUSTRY

    100 Yard/Hour Mobile Placer Plant (MPP-100)

Proven mining technology at work for you

The core of our recovery equipment is comprised of two highly efficient concentrators,

our Low-G Horizontal Centrifuge (primary concentrator), and our Reverse MultiHelix Spiral. These revolutionary heavy metal/mineral concentrators were developed based on the need to recover a high percentage of fine gold in large production volumes, with greater recovery ability than traditional sluices, yet with a simpler mechanical apparatus versus pulsating jigs or centrifugal bowls.

Thus, the Horizontal Centrifuge was perfected for high volume, primary recovery of fine gold, and the Reverse Multi-Helix Spiral as a rougher, cleaner, and finisher. Both are simple to operate and can be connected in parallel to expand volume throughput. Their simplicity, versatility, and efficiency are unique in the industry.

Oro Industries Inc. provides expert consulting, custom fabrications, on-site piloting capabilities for the design and fabrication of production-scale plants, and complete mobile equipment packages for your application. We are the mining company for miners! We look forward to contributing our expertise to your project.

  • Cleaner Model Spiral Concentrator

A continuous or batch feed secondary concentrator for

processing primary sluice concentrate, primary jig

concentrate, centrifuge concentrate, and milled hard-rock

ores. Set up as a cleaner, the 16 or 24 spiral

concentrator is perfect for the application of mercury

recovery and tailings projects. For highest production

performance, it is recommended to classify material to

    1/4 minus.

The Reverse Multi-Helix Spiral Concentrator is available in 3 models: the 24 Rougher, the 16 Cleaner, and the

16 Finisher. Each concentrator can be set up as a continuous or batch feed. All units are commercial duty, gravity

concentrators for both alluvial and fine milled hard rock ores.

Oros Helix Spiral concentrators can achieve the highest concentration ratio AND recovery possible with any type

of ore that can be concentrated by gravity. The design and engineering principles of the multi-helix spirals inside

the concentrator allow for full adjustment to the ore-matrix or concentrate, yielding the peak concentration ratio with

virtually no loss of gold. With this unique ability, it means higher production rates, and a reduced amount of

concentrate resulting in a smelting grade concentrate or finished clean gold.

The Helix Spiral can be setup in parallel, series, or as a stand-alone concentrator; in parallel for higher production

rates, in series for mixed minerals, and stand-alone for pure gold recovery. The configurations are unlimited.

Moreover, by using a 24 Rougher to feed a 16 Cleaner, and the cleaner feeding a 16 Finisher will put clean,

sellable or smelt-grade gold in your hand, without anyone touching it.

    Finisher Model Spiral Concentrator

The finisher model can be used in conjunction

with our standard Secondary Cleaner to shorten

clean-up time when concentrating large volumes,

or in certain custom applications. Highest

production performance is with fine concentrates

of materials less than 1/8. Up to 90% of all

concentration and clean-up needs can be

achieved with the standard 16 Secondary

cleaner. Ask us for advice about your particular

    application.

    24 Rougher Model Spiral Concentrator

Used as a Primary Concentrator for both

alluvial and milled hard rock ores, the 24

Spiral is ideally suited for mixed mineral

    hard rock ore concentration. This

concentrator cant be beat when the job

calls for a continuous concentrator for Gold,

Glena, Chalcopyrite and Sulfide type hard

rock ores. As well replaces Jigs for heavy

black sand ores. Fine gold recoverable

ability + 90% to 200 mesh in production and

    99% above 140 mesh.

    THEORY OF OPERATION

The actual "working surface" of the

concentrator is made up of a series of

    leads running lengthwise in reverse

in a critical tight spiral pattern along

the inner barrel. The leads have a set

angle on the uphill side and a counter

angle on the downhill side, and are

larger in height and width at the rear of

the barrel than at the front. Exact

    angles and dimensions to create

    ultimate efficiency took hundreds of

hours of trial and error testing. During

    operation, the decreasing height and

width of the leads create the

classifying effect as the ore passes

through the barrel. As the ore is being

    classified, the gold and heavy

concentrate settle into the bottom of

the groves made by the leads and is

conveyed upwards (in reverse). As the

    classified ore reaches the upper

portion of the barrel, a set of angled

    spray heads continuously wash back"

the lighter gangue material while the

    gold and heavy concentrate continue

moving forward, falling out of the

    groves and into the concentrate

holding bin. This is a continuous

    process allowing the gold concentrate

to be recovered in a hands off fashion

while the waste is being discharged

out of the rear of the Spiral. For larger

    volume processing, multiple Spirals

can be installed in "series" with the ore

    being feed automatically from one

    Spiral to the next.

VERSATILITY For secondary and final processing of sluice concentrates, primary jig concentrates and centrifuge concentrates - fully adjustable allowing for "rough" and/or "tight" cuts, adjusts to a wide range of ores and concentrates to achieve a smelting grade product - also great for bulk sampling and testing head ores - continuous feed or batch feed - portability allows you to move around your site or work off site (indoors or outdoors) - classify any heavy metal or heavy mineral such as gold, silver, platinum, tantalum barite, scheelite, sulfides, tin, galena, lead shot and bullets etc. The spiral is also great for recovery of mercury and tailings projects. All considered, the Helix Spiral is the most versatile and practical piece of mining equipment

    you will ever own!

  • If you cant see it with the naked eye, the Low-G Centrifuge will recover it." A skilled panner can recover free

gold down to 100 mesh and our Low-G Centrifuge has equal ability for free gold recovery. However, in a

production environment, recovery rates using gravity separation methods for gold particles down to 200-300

mesh, begin to decline with any gravity separation method. We claim 99% recovery of free gold down to 100

mesh and 80% to 90% recovery down to 200 mesh. Recovery rates of free-gold particles at 300 mesh

minus start getting out of reach of physical concentration means and require chemical separation methods.

Gold measuring in the 300 mesh range is almost colloidal and tends to stay in suspension in the turbid water.

Even in clear water, this ultra fine gold stays in suspension almost indefinitely in a production environment.

Claims of high recovery rates of 300 mesh gold in a production environment using physical (gravity) means are

    simply not true.

Oro Industries Low-G centrifuges are available in 3 sizes: the 16, 24 and the 30. All Low-G Centrifuges are

Primary batch-type concentrators for both alluvial and milled hard rock ores. They are designed and engineered

for commercial continuous duty and are bullet proof. The Low-G has the ability to recover finer gold at a higher

recovery rate than any other concentrator on the market today. The reason for this is that the Low-G is a

centrifugal concentrator not a gravity concentrator. That means its not reliant on gravity settlement; the values

are forced into the concentrate chambers by centrifugal force. This yields a greater recovery of fine gold.

Since the Low-G is a batch-type concentrator, you can achieve very high concentration ratios with most types of

alluvial and hard rock ores. In fact, you achieve a much greater ratio then any gravity concentrators are capable

of producing. In most cases you can run all day before you retrieve the concentrate from the centrifuge. To

retrieve the concentrates, simply slow down the centrifuge and all of the concentrate will come out within 30

minutes. After a whole day of production this concentrate is rich, so be careful how you handle it. The best way

is to process it with Oros Multi-Helix Spiral Cleaner & Finisher. The Spirals are designed to take the centrifuge

concentrate and give you fine, clean, free gold, at the highest recovery rate possible.

Setup and operation of the Low-G centrifuge easy. It needs to be on a level surface of wood, steel or cement.

Each centrifuge has a standard pipe flange feed connection, and comes with a swing discharge trough. The

trough is down when running production and you swing it up to retrieve the concentrate into a receiving bin. To

operate the centrifuge, set the running speed to its indicated running RPM value located above the tachometer

by turning the speed control knob. Start the water flow and begin feeding the ore. When you are ready to retrieve

the concentrate, place a receiving bin under the discharge trough. Stop ore feeding, slow down the water to

around 25 GPM, and let it run at full RPM for 10 minutes. This will clean out excess material away from the

concentrate. Swing up the discharge trough and start slowing down the centrifuge by turning the speed control

knob. Lower the RPMs in increments of 100 every 5 minutes. At half the running speed youll start to see the

heaver concentrate and gold beginning to discharge. Keep slowing down the centrifuge by increments of 50

RPMs every few minutes until you reach 200 RPM. At that speed all the concentrate will come out in 10 to 15

    minutes.

    Low-G Horizontal Centrifuge Primary Concentrator

  • THEORY OF OPERATION

The Centrifuge is a low G-Force,

    batch type Concentrator, designed to

operate with clean or turbid water,

which makes it ideal for recycle /

    recirculation applications. It is a

    continuous feed (water and ore)

    Concentrator and batches the

    concentrate during the run process.

In operation at a specific G-Force, the

    internal chambers fill with lighter

    material, which form soft fluidized

"beds". Gold and heavy minerals and

metals are forced to the walls of the

chambers where they are trapped. As

    the slurry continuously enters the

    Centrifuge, the heavier particles

    displace the lighter particles. At

    startup, material starts collecting in

the first set of chambers. When the

first chambers are full, the material

passes to the second chamber, and

so on until the Centrifuge is full. Under

continuous run throughout the day, the

    heavy particles are displacing the

lighter particles. At the end of the

process day, the heavy concentrate is

cleaned out by simply decreasing the

    speed and flushing the concentrate

into a receiver. In most cases with

typical alluvial and hard rock ores, a

properly sized Centrifuge will give you

a full days production before it

    requires flushing.

    VERSATILITY

The Low-G Horizontal Centrifuge is an

    excellent batch concentrator for primary

recovery at volumes from 15-40 tons /

hour. Very economical for high volumes

of typical alluvial or milled hard-rock

ores - Adaptable to any existing

classifying circuit - Multiple units can be

    connected in simultaneous feed for

    higher volume throughput - Performs

well with turbid water, great for recycle

    loop applications (ponds). For peak

    production capacity, we recommend

classifying the head ore to minus.

  • MPP-100

Oro industry manufactures a series of mobile

alluvial gold processing plants called MPP &

MSTP. Each series plant is built rugged for

continued around the clock duty. They come with a

variety of production ratings from 10 cubic yd/hr to

100 cubic yd/hr. All series plants are designed &

    engineered as completely self-contained portable

gold processing plants with everything required for

production mining. All mobile plants have their own

feed hopper, classifier, primary gold concentrator,

power system, and water pump, mounted on a

trailer ready for work. The reason behind MPP &

MSTP processing plants is to offer Oros clients

affordable turn-key mining equipment for small &

medium scale mining. Onsite assembly only

requires a few hours and you are mining!

Unique in the industry is our line of innovative Mobile Placer Ore Processing Plants. These plants are versatile

and economical for alluvial mining projects. Well suited for production and exploration - stationary or mobile

applications - very compact and portable. Capacities range from 25-100 cubic meters / hour with continuous feed

from either a backhoe or excavator working alongside and feeding ore direct into the plants hopper. Our typical

design uses a vibrating, wet hopper that flows onto the vibrating screen deck classifier which gravity feeds into

the Low-G Horizontal Centrifuge for primary recovery. At the end of the process day, the primary concentrate can

then be processed with the Helix Spiral for final concentrating. A feed hopper wash plant, and ore classifier, with

primary and secondary concentration comprises a complete system.

These plants are built on a towable trailer frame and include onboard power, water pump and electric/hydraulic

drive. They are completely self-contained. Their mobility is specially suited to move up and down the alluvial

plane, moving the plant to the ore instead of excavating and hauling ore to a stationary plant. Less support

machinery dedicated to excavate and haul ore means less capital investment and lower mine operation costs.

The plant can shift position on the fly taking only 15-20 minutes to reposition the plant using the 4 leveling

jacks. These mobile plants are great for exploration programs and/or production, and perfect for fluctuating high

and low water conditions due to daily or seasonal rains. Site reclamation is more economical, head-ore tailings go

right back in the digging trenches during or shortly after the process day instead of mounting up at multiple

excavation sites. These plants are virtually "plug and play", minimal assembly required and can be shipped

overseas in a standard sea container.

Only top quality parts and materials are used in their

construction. Both the MPP & MSTP processing

plants have onboard CAT powered hydraulic

systems, with proven reliable dependability. In the

initial designing & engineering of every plant, all

moving parts are considered and chosen for their

interchangeability and easy replacement in virtually

every country worldwide. Because, Oro builds all

components for each series plant, spare plant parts

are easily obtainable. Mining is tough on equipment

and the MPP & MSTP plants are made to handle it,

for years and years of dependable duty. All

considerations have been made; so you wont need

to buy anything else. Moreover, the plants are

specially designed to fit into standard sea containers

    for easy shipping worldwide.

    MOBILE PLACER PLANT (MPP)

These series plants are designed specifically for traditional placer type deposits. Placer deposits are made up of mainly sand, gravel & stone found in river channel ways. The MPP plants are a smaller, lighter plant and are very easy to move around the mine site. The MPP ability to process their rated head ore production with a small foot print is second to none. Their reliable and proven design makes it easy to mine in most all placer situations. The MPP series plants have little scrubbing action for clay ores. With a clay ore content exceeding 30%, the MPP series is not recommended for use.

MOBILE SCRUBBER TROMMEL PLANT (MSTP) These series plants are designed for heavy clay alluvial ore deposits. Alluvial deposits generally have a mixture of sand, gravel & stone, with much higher clay content. These deposits are found more in valleys, mountain bases or spread over sedimentary plains. Clay encapsulates small gold particles making it un-recoverable; to recover these particles the clay must be liquefied. The MSTP is designed for these type alluvial deposits and has the ability to scrub and liquefy the clay. The MSTP are the most versatile alluvial plants and works on all alluvial type ore deposits. Theyre larger & heaver then the MPP and a little more cumbersome to move around the mine site. But, the benefits of being able to process any alluvial ore, makes the MSTP the most efficient mobile alluvial process plant available.
