Step3 Create an NE in one of the following two ways.
1. Click NE Search and specify the search criteria. Select the NE to be added to create a new NE.
You can also create NEs by manually adding the NEs. Since the NE ID is unknown during the initial NE configuration, the search-and-add method is preferred.
In the NE List, click NE Search. Then, the Search NE dialog box is displayed.Set Domain to 129.9.255.255, and click Search. After the Web LCT finds the NEs, click End Search.
Click Add NE. After the prompt box that indicates the NE is successfully added is displayed, click OK.Then, a new NE is added into the NE list.

Web LCT Configuration – Setting IF Attributes
You can set the following IF attributes by using the T2000 Web LCT: working mode, link ID, IF port loopback, 2 Mbit/s wayside service, and ATPC-related information.
In the NE Explorer, select an IF board and choose IF Interface from the Function Tree.
2 Mbit/s wayside service: If the working mode of an IF board is STM-1, the equipment can transmit a 2 Mbit/s wayside service through the regeneration section overhead. The 2 Mbit/s wayside service is accessed through the external clock interface, connected to the IF board without passing through the cross-connect module, and transmitted through the regeneration section overhead. The input board of the 2 Mbit/s wayside service is the corresponding cross-connect board.

Web LCT Configuration – Setting IF Attributes
You can enable automatic transmit power control (ATPC), and adjust the threshold and the ATPC adjustment.
The ATPC technology is used to enable the output power of a radio transmitter to automatically change in the ATPC range according to the change of the received level of the receiver. Hence, the output power of the transmitter remains at a fixed low level under normal conditions. You can manually enable ATPC.
ATPC adjustment threshold: ATPC adjusts the transmitted power according to the received level of the receiver, to ensure that the received level of the receiver falls inside the range that meets the reliability of channels, and the transmitter is working at a small transmitted power under 99% conditions. To achieve this, you need to configure the level range of the receiver. When the level exceeds the range, you need to adjust the power of the transmitter. To adjust the threshold is to adjust the level range of the receiver.
ATPC adjustment increment: To realize a sharp decrease of power, it is required that ATPC can quickly adjusts the transmitted power. Due to communications problem, RSSI detection cannot be too fast. Hence, you need to increase the ATPC increment to adjust the ATPC speed of power adjustment. By default, the increment is 5 dBm.

Web LCT Configuration – Setting RF Attributes
By using the T2000 Web LCT, you can query and configure the following RF attributes: transmit frequency, T/R spacing, transmitted power, ODU manufacturer information, RF loopback status, and ODU status.
Frequency attributes
By using the T2000 Web LCT, you can query and configure the following RF attributes: transmit frequency, T/R spacing, transmitted power, ODU manufacturer information, RF loopback status, and ODU status.

Power attributes
Transmitted power: For the OptiX RTN equipment, the IDU type is not related to a frequency band, while the ODU type depends on a frequency band. According to the supported channel, the bandwidth is divided into multiple frequency points. Signals can be correctly transmitted and received only when the frequency point of the transmitted matches the frequency point of the receiver. Hence, you need to set the RF frequency point for a port.
Query the actual transmitted power. When you enable ATPC, as ATPC automatically adjusts the transmitted power, the actual transmitted power that you query may be the same as the power that you set. You can query the actual transmitted power.

ODU manufacturer information
Transmitted power: For the OptiX RTN equipment, the IDU type is not related to a frequency band, while the ODU type depends on a frequency band. According to the supported channel, the bandwidth is divided into multiple frequency points. Signals can be correctly transmitted and received only when the frequency point of the transmitted matches the frequency point of the receiver. Hence, you need to set the RF frequency point for a port and the value must be an integer multiple of 250.
T/R spacing refers to the spacing between the transmitted power and the received power. To ensure that the transmitted power and the received power do not interfere with each other, there must be spacing between them. Some ODUs support two TR spacing. Under special conditions, the standard TR spacing cannot meet the requirement. Hence, you need to set the TR spacing. If you do not set it, you can set this parameter to 0.
The product SN includes the serial number and manufacturer number.

Web LCT Configuration – Setting RF Attributes
In the Advanced Attributes tab, you set RF loopback and ODU status.
Configure the transmission status. To avoid transmission interference, after the ODU is powered on, it is disabled to transmit signals by default. Hence, after you apply the ODU configuration to an NE, you need to manually enable the RF transmission of the ODU and the message is directly sent to the ODU to enable or disable the RF transmission. The ODU works in this way.
