Where We’re Going – 2013 and beyond
• Setting local, community-wide goals
• Integrating Education, Income and Health
• Greater alignment to drive performance & execution
Opportunities in Education, Income and Health9
What’s in it for me?
• It’s not enough to produce outputs or serve clients; we have to move the needle with our partners
• Education, Income and Health problems are interconnected
• The root causes of issues require coordinated responses
• Organizations in our communities can’t solve these problems alone, and neither can United Ways
• Inconsistency and inefficiency are stifling our progress – and children and families pay the price
