Camera

Panning – to show where we are and we are also following the technology which fits with the genre of Si-fi

Tracking on the feet – gives a slight tension and anticipation to find out who the person is which interests the target audience and also fits the genre of adventure

Close ups on important gadgets and technology – give us a hint into the film and also fit with the genre of Si-fi and it gives us a hint that there will be an adventure

Low level shot on the feet with a skateboard – the shoes are Nike and he is riding a skateboard which fits in with the trend and was ‘mainstream’ which then corresponds with the target audience

Tracking of the skateboard hitting the Plutonium – this shots keeps the adults and older teens engaged and add comedy to the scene.

Editing

The first edit is humorous – fits with the comedy genre Very long first shot – fits the genre of an adventure Special effects – which fits with the genre of adventure and Si-fi

Titles The titles appear and then fade out on a black screen Fade on and off over the image – they are very subtle which does

not take the attention off of the images Back to the future font – has a Si-fi and adventure feel and look

to it which fits in with the genre

Use of diegetic ticking – which helps create a suspense and helps with the comedy Lots of diegetic sounds – which shows the sound of the technology which suggests Si-fi and adventureLots of clocks – with a J cut which shows a slight amount of tension and gives the hint of adventure Guitar – loud diegetic noise of the guitar which suggest comedy “Alright Doc” – diegetic sound from the young person “alright Doc” this then connects with the teenage target audience
