How does it all work?

Everybody knowsCD sales have been plummeting…Due to illegal downloading and file sharing 

People deem their prices are too high…In 2007, Universal Music artist Trent Reznor from

Nine Inch Nail prompted fans to ‘steal’ CDs as they were too expensive (video hereinafter)

This is where the Opendisc Technology comes into play!

The idea is to reward the CD buyers by giving them access to extra contents from their artists…

By entering the CD into their computer, they gain access to the Opendisc software which leads them to a ‘secret’ site!

Writing the catch phrases, curating the pages with exclusive contents (unreleased tracks, album epk, guitar tutorials, …)

Mostly to:

- Collect the minimum contents required to build the sites and to keep them relevant.

- Get the executives agreement, which is vital before launching any project.

First venture in online marketing, surely not the last

This was a landmark experience within a young, dynamic and ambitious firm

I learnt a lot on team-working and gained confidence throughout those 3 months.

I pride myself on having worked on high profile artists’ projects

+ It helped me during my stint @ (online retailer)

as an Assistant Category Manager
