whereas they have their Call Center for the same, and has many

Technicians who go on site for the computer repair.

Problems:

In their Call Center after the job is done by the Technicians, they

use to face many problems while calling to their respective “CRS”

(Customer Relationship Specialists). They make calls as they have

to provide the details for the job done for their work orders, while

making calls to their respective CRS they use to get many

disconnections, and sometimes they use to be on hold for a longer

time by which they were not been able to provide the details for

their complete work order at the same time.

We have developed the IVR using “Asterisk” for our client, according to their requirements. Rigel Networks provided

full-featured, end-to-end solutions to support the entire range of inbound and outbound services.

In outbound workflow, IVR used to generate calls to technician by fetching the data of technician from the database. IVR

play all the parts for that work order and the technician can choose the particular part and he can update the tracking

number for that particular part of the particular work number. The system will first directly make a greeting to the

technicians when they have dialed the Call Center, and according to the voice responses the technicians need to enter

their ID details, once their ID details are matched they get into the call flow, and can get started entering the work order

details according to the voice responses. Once all the details are matched, the system will automatically update the

work order, and the same work order will get into the process for the Tech’s payment.

On the other side, in the inbound flow, the technician can call to IVR system for a service for particular work order. IVR

will insert the record into the database and the technician will be transferred to an agent for more information or he will

be asked to enter the pay rate. He will be given different options and will be transferred according to the flow of service

he is requesting for. As by having the IVR systems, the technicians don’t need to reach their respective managers for the

work order to be updated, they can call the Call Center and through the help of IVR they can update their jobs. In this

way they can save their time and do not need to be in the queue to reach their managers, as through IVR they can reach

the systems 24/7.
