Admissions Requirements

The online MBA from the Smith School at the University of Maryland, College Park, is designed for students with a bachelor’s degree and the desire to build business acumen. The degree can be earned online in as few as 24 months. Taking place over six 14-week terms, the program consists of 54 total credits.

During the program there are two required campus-based residencies, each lasting three days. The residencies allow students to build a strong working relationship with their cohort peers and the faculty from the outset, setting the stage for academic success and professional growth, and to come together for a capstone experience at the end of the program.
