To Create Your User Account

2. Enter your new account information in the window below.

IMPORTANT: When creating a Registration User ID and Password remember to “Write your password down!” IMPORTANT: Click on the Links to review the documentation. 3. Click in the check box to indicate you have read and agreed to each of the

documents. 4. Click the Register button.

Creating an Application for Employment

1. There are two ways to view available jobs.

a. Under Quick Links click on Job Listing. b. Under What Would You Like to Do? Click on View Open Job

Listing.

2. All open competitive job openings display as shown below. Click any of the

links to preview additional details.

3. Click on the Apply Now link to the right of the Position you wish to apply for.

Note: You may receive special instructions on how to apply for some Jobs: Example: Non-permanent or Non-BCC openings: Parks and Recreation – Day Camp Counselor (Non-perm BCC) Palm Tran – Non-BCC Supervisor of Elections – Non-BCC

Important: Please note the closing date on the job posting. In most cases the application deadline is 5:00 PM. 4. If you apply for job that is about to close, a countdown clock will display. The

yellow highlight color will turn red in the final 5 minutes.

Profile Tab 1. The first tab is the Profile tab. Fill in your profile details. All required fields

are marked with a red (*) asterisk. IMPORTANT: Answering YES to some questions may display additional questions.

2. Answering Yes to Related to current Palm Beach county employee?

3. The system will display the new questions as shown below.

4. Enter the Driving History details.

5. Click the Save button to save the details entered. The Education tab will

open.

6. Clicking the Go Next button will open the Education tab.

Education The system defaults to select the Education Type High School tab.

1. Click on the (Grade/High School) “Select LAST YEAR COMPLETED” drop

down arrow and select the appropriate year from the list.

2. When entering your High School details you must select “0” from the (College/Graduate) “Select LAST YEAR COMPLETED” drop down list.

3. Click on the Add New button.

4. Enter the information into the appropriate fields.

5. Click the Save button.

6. The confirmation message displays: Your Education details saved

successfully!

7. Continue entering any additional education details by clicking the appropriate link.

8. The College/University tab is clicked and the Add New button is clicked.

9. The fields shown below display. Enter the appropriate information into the fields.

10. Click on the Save button.

11. You can enter multiple schools for the same Education Type by saving your first entry, then clicking the Add New button. Enter the additional information, and click the Save button again.

12. To review your Education entries, click on View all Education Details saved link.

13. All Education details entered will display as shown below.

14. Click the Close button to close the education details page.

15. When you have finished entering, revising and saving your Education

information, click the Go Next button.

Experience Tab 1. Click on the Add New button.

2. Enter your work experience into the appropriate fields.

3. Enter the employment details.

4. Click the Save button.

5. When you have entered all the employment details click the Save button.

6. The confirmation message displays: Your Experience details savedsuccessfully!

7. To enter additional employment, click on the Add New button.

8. To view all Employment Records click on the “View all Work Experience(s)saved” link.

9. Click the Go Next button to move to the next Tab.

10. When you have finished entering, revising and saving your Experienceinformation, click the Go Next button.

Note: When you submit your application online, you will need to print a cover sheet. The cover sheet will need to be attached to the required Veterans’ Preference documentation.

application for employment.

2. Click on the Print Application button to print a copy of your application.

3. You can return to any of the previous screens to update information by clicking on the appropriate tab.

4. When you have finished reviewing the application, click on the Go Next button at the bottom of the page.

Submit Tab 1. Please read the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners Terms

and Conditions of Use information.

2. Click the Print button if you want to print the PBC Terms and Conditions.

3. Click in the check box to indicate you have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and the Candidate’s Code of Ethics.

4. Click the Yes button if you wish to replace your current application profile with the information entered on this application. If you do not want to replace/update your current application profile click in the No radio button.

5. Under the Application Submittal Details please read the details and click in the check box.

6. When all of the steps listed above have been completed click the Save & Submit button.
