Bilingualism

Students will study key topics related to bilingualism (e.g., learning multiple

languages in childhood, language learning later in life, switching between

languages, cognitive and social consequences of bilingualism, maintaining

two or more languages throughout your life). Brief readings or activities may

be assigned on a few days as homework to prepare for our time together.

Our Zoom meetings will primarily be discussion-oriented, but will also

involve some short presentations and activities.

God has brilliantly created the

matter that we see, touch, taste,

and feel all around us. How are

we as Christians to approach the

discipline of chemistry, and does

this differ from the approach of an

atheist? In this class, we will explore

some of the most fundamental

principles of chemistry through some

interesting demonstrations. We will

also spend some time thinking about

and discussing what it looks like

to practice chemistry in a way that

glorifies God.
