Re-imagining Regeneration

This conference comes at a crucial time for housing associations. Regeneration is facing a perfect storm and cuts to public investment are taking place as the fragile private sector remains risk averse and in recovery mode. With the traditional financial model broken, many leading figures in regeneration think a new direction and model is required which can best take advantage of new local structures.

We believe now is the ideal time to re-imagine the future of regeneration and for housing associations to take advantage of their long standing community presence.

The event will bring together leading practitioners to help chart an innovative future for the physical and socio-economic regeneration of communities in economic decline.

Benefits of attending ● Join us in an exciting venue to explore alternative futures for regeneration and neighbourhood investment

● Hear from key thinkers and leading practitioners who are delivering innovative solutions to long standing problems in economically declining areas

● Learn lessons from the past and look at how to develop a new vision of the role of housing associations in regeneration

● Hear how some leading organisations are working to mitigate the effects of welfare reform and explore ideas of how homes and jobs interrelate to make a community prosper

● Our inspiring speakers will explore the opportunities for housing associations to take the lead in building sustainable and successful communities

The National Housing Federation is the voice of affordable housing in England. We believe that everyone should have the home they need at a price they can afford. That’s why we represent the work of housing associations and campaign for better housing.

Our members provide two and a half million homes for more than five million people. And each year they invest in a diverse range of neighbourhood projects that help create strong, vibrant communities.
