Neshaminy Interplex: Thanks for making time to meet with us. Let’s start at the beginning of our relationship – how did you originally find yourself at the Interplex? Maryna: I believe I was just googling offices in the Bucks County area. I realized this was such a good regional location since we wanted to be accessible to the Turnpike, Route 1, and 95. Most of our employees at this location are from the Philly and New Jersey areas. We just needed easy access to the office space. NI: Where were you located before you came here? Maryna: We were founded in Europe in 2008, but opened in the US soon after. We started out by sharing an office with another company in Croydon. We were only three people back then so there wasn’t a great need for large space. NI: Right, I remember debating the size of your office needs when we first gave you a tour of the Interplex. Do you remember what your requirements were? Maryna: We wanted something that had a lot of windows. You showed us a space that already had some furniture in it, which was a good thing to help out a growing company. We loved it right away. NI: Due to your rapid growth, you’re on your fourth different office here in the park. How have these multiple expansions been for you? Maryna: You could say we’ve had to adjust quickly at times! We are a tech company, so it remains hard to predict how fast the growth is going to happen. If I recall, we started with 1,390s/f in Building Six, then moved to 2,430 s/f in Building Eight, then expanded in that building up to 6,400 s/f . Last July, we moved over here to Building Seven, expanding into almost 17,000s/f. We have such a positive relationship with our landlord – we like how your management staff has been willing to help us expand each time, to find the right space for our accommodations. When we needed to move, the Interplex helped facilitate it. NI: All these moves were because you needed more space for staff? Aysylu: Yes, here we host customer success, sales, and our marketing staff. For a short time we were in two different buildings but that presented other challenges. Over time, we’ve moved their departments closer together to better accommodate a productive workforce. Sales continues to grow and having a larger space allows them to work more cooperatively.

NI: Right, I remember debating the size of your office needs when we first gave you a tour of the Interplex. Do you remember what your requirements were?

NI: Due to your rapid growth, you’re on your fourth different office here in the park. How have these multiple expansions been for you?

NI: How do you think the Interplex currently serves your needs?

Maryna: We love how nicely the buildings are taken care of. The landscaping, hallways, everything. But more importantly, if we reach out to Arnie or Nancy (in the Korman Commercial management office), they are always happy to help us.

Aysylu: From our experience, dealing closely with Nancy and Arnie means things happen usually within a day or so. They are always flexible, especially during times when we were under construction and needed to get work done at the same time.

NI: What amenities or services does your staff make use of?

Aysylu: Our people love the Fooda lunch options. Some use your gym facilities and walking paths. Another perk we enjoy are the festivals here in spring and fall.

Maryna: I also like how accessible the parking lots are, especially the one under cover at Building Eight! Seriously, we really like being engaged in this business community, and it brings value to our company when we are hiring people. NI: That’s great. Tell us a little bit about your company, your process, and what makes you successful as a tech leader.

Aysylu: We started up as an online marketing software company 10 years ago. Today we lead in helping companies understand their competitor’s online marketing. We provide valuable analysis, showing our users how certain keywords and competition rankings on search engines give them data for strategic marketing.

Maryna: Today, we are close to 500 people strong, employed globally throughout offices in the United States, Russia, Czech Republic, and Cyprus. Here at this office we focus on sales, customer success and marketing, and we house our developers in other offices internationally. Our US staff generally focuses on North American busi-ness, and we service Spain, Germany, Italy and other countries in our other offices.

NI: How do you set yourselves apart from your competition?

Maryna: We are innovators. Our proprietary tech development was named the Best SEO Software in the European Search Awards 2017, UK Search Awards 2017, and also the United States Search Awards 2017. We are so proud of this distinction. With over two million users, we are recognized internationally for our ability to provide an important service to leading companies around the word, some of which include: Ebay, Overstock, HP, and other well-known corporations.

Aysylu: As an all-in-one marketing solution for SEO, pay-per-click, and social media content for an affordable price, the services we can provide companies is unbeatable.

NI: I know you’re very employee-oriented too. Want to talk about some of your staff initiatives?

Maryna: This is something that is very important to us. We want positive relation-ships with our vendors for sure, but employee retention is essential. To go from 20 employees to nearly 500 in just a few short years means we have to pay attention to how we attract staff, and how we treat them. The modern, food-stocked kitchen is nice to have; the comfortable office space, the great location – these are all things we pay attention to in our workplace.

Aysylu: We also continue to build up our core group by engaging our employees regularly. When they’re invested they’re more successful too. Our recent food drives and holiday toy drives are great ways to unite people here. We also work together to

benefit the community with volunteer projects, and we held an employee field day in Neshaminy Park last year where we did Olympic competitions – I think we have really good people here that are receptive to doing things together.

NI: That’s great that your employees are so willing to participate.

Maryna: This is so important. We’re proud to be thought of as a good employer, and always look for ways to do more for them as we continue to grow.

NI: Thank you so much for sitting with us today. It was great to learn about SEMRush, and thanks for being such a valued Neshaminy Interplex tenant.

OCTOBER 4, 2017

For the past 9 years, Korman Commercial Proper-ties has donated five thousand dollars at holiday time to our local chapter of Special Olympics, on behalf of our Neshaminy Interplex tenant com-panies. This important cause allows these local

athletes to fund training and travel, purchase new equipment, and other vital needs. You can see from their faces how much this gift means to them, and we were pleased to be able to present this check in your name to these very special athletes for 2017.
