What is F1 in schools?
Design: Team members use CAD software to develop their ideas and model them in 3D.
Test: Virtual Wind Tunnel software predicts the effects of drag and lift on the car design.
Manufacture: computer aided manufacture converts the car design into a physical car.
F1 in schools is an international competition held in over 36 countries. Each team competes in design, testing, manufacturing and racing there 1/20th scale F1 car to win the international “Ecclestone” trophy and become world champions!
On the race day each team competes in knock out stages in racing their cars down a 25meter track. Each car is powered by co2 gas canister.
