REGULATION 5.1.9 - SAFETY

Philosophy and Concept

58. Safety precautions and instructions are published in MINDEF policy and required by government legislation. Within maintenance publications and instructions, warnings and cautions are provided to ensure safety of personnel and protection of equipment during particular maintenance processes. Every person involved in maintenance is responsible not only for their own safety, but also the safety of subordinates and others within the workplace. This regulation requires that AMOs comply with all safety requirements authorised by DGTA and the relevant AEO.
