第38期『ワンダーショウケース』のプレゼンテーション作品であり、現役プロダクトデザイナーによるオリジナル作品。キットの名称は “アンドロイド”であるが、田川は一目見て心を感じ “サイボーグ”として魂を与えたいと思ったという。製作に際してはとくに改造した箇所はなく、睫毛の植毛を施したのみ。機械の骨格部分には微細なレターのデカールを貼ることで “生まれたばかりの工業製品”的なイメージを想起させアイキャッチとした。また下地塗装として体中に血管を描いている。

This is the 38 season presentation of Wonder Show Case, an original work by an active product designer. The name of the kit is "Android" but Tagawa felt the spirit at first sight and wanted to give soul as "cyborg". There was no particular modification to the product, and only eyelashes were transplanted. The frame of the machine is decorated with fine letter decals to evoke an image of "nascent industrial product" as an eye catch. Also, blood vessels are drawn all over the body as a foundation coating.

ファッション誌の表紙を飾るようなハイセンスのSM嬢。そんな彼女に鞭打たれたような衝撃さえ感じられる作品。上着を詰めニーハイブーツに改造。エッチングパーツで帽章を追加。

She is a stylish S&M girl who might appears on the cover of a fashion magazine. It was a shock like being whipped by her. The jacket was shortened and the boots was converted into knee-high boots. Added a hat pit with photo-etched parts.

The gaze sparkle with fire of life. The RPG7 is a kit from the Chinese 1/6 rifle collection.

たとえ圧倒的なまでに優れた表現力を持った造型物に出会っても、その立体から自らのなかにストーリーを生み出せなければ、実際の塗装作業へと進むことはない。ストーリーが生まれるということ。それは彼女たちの生きている世界との接点を見出し、そこに触れて、次第にのめり込んでゆくことだ。ストーリーはフィギュアを作る切っ掛けでありながら、同時にフィギュアを塗る意欲の原動力でもある。作品のバックボーンとなる明確なストーリーがあってこそ、力を持った作品が生まれる。

出来のいいモノ、完成度の高い模型を作るのではない。姿かたちこそ人のカタチを模してはいるが、そこにあるのはレジンキャストキットという物体。どうしたら彼女たちに血が通うのか。どうしたら彼女たちの肌は、そして髪は柔らかさを得られるのか。なにをすれば彼女たちは輝きを放つのか。その答えとして己の持てる技は、“描く”という手段のみ。パーツに血を通わせ、人肌のぬくもりを感じさせ、その瞳に意志を込める。田川にとって描くこととは、生命を描くこと。キットを塗るという行為は、キットの持つ生命力の表現なのだと、強く思いながら描き続ける。

自分が塗っている女性たちに、塗りながら“恋心”を抱く。自らが感じた彼女たちのストーリーに共感し、ときにはボロボロと涙を流す。そこに“ある”レジンキャストキットという物体に、肌を、髪を、頬を、唇を、爪を、そして瞳を描いてゆくうち、それはそこに“いる”少女へと、それは確かな変貌を遂げてゆく。魂を込める、という上辺だけの言葉ではない、本当の熱量をもって作品に挑む姿勢。だからこそ、完成した田川の作品を見て、「彼女たちに恋をした」という人が次々にあらわれる。田川の与えた魂のカタチに他人が共感を覚える、それこそが魂を込めた意味となる。

Even if you come across a molded objects with a superior and overwhelming expressiveness, if you can't create a story within yourself from it, you can't move on to actual painting. The creation of a story is nothing but finding a connection with the world in which they live, touching it, and gradually getting into it.The story is not only a starting point for making a figure, but also a driving force for painting a figure at the same time. A powerful work can be created when there is a clear story that forms the backbone of the work.

It's not about making good things, or models with high perfection. There's an object called a resin kit. How can their skin and hair achieve softness? How can they shine? The only technique he has is "drawing". The blood runs through the parts, making you feel the warmth of human skin and putting your will into the eyes. For Tagawa, drawing means drawing life. Draw strongly that the act of applying a kit is to express the vitality of the kit.

Feel the "love" while painting the girls. He sympathizes with their stories and sometimes burst into tears. In the process of drawing the skin, hair, cheeks, lips, nails, and eyes on an object called resin figure, it transforms into a girl who "exist" there. It is not just about putting your soul into the work, it is about challenging the work with real energy. For this reason, when people look at the completed Tagawa's works,"Fell in love". Other people feel sympathy for their soul given by Tagawa, the soul he gave to make the figure something meaningful.

Profile

1959年、宮崎県に生まれる。大分県立芸術短期大学附属緑ヶ丘高等学校（美術）を卒業し、名古屋芸術大学絵画科（洋画）に入学。平面作家を志す。1988-93年、中日展「大賞」、「佳作賞」受賞（名古屋市博物館）をしたが、1995年、林 浩己原型のリアルフィギュアに出会い1996年にはじめてのリアル女性フィギュアの塗装をはじめる。その後、2011年に本格的にフィギュア塗装作家を目指し活動を開始。多くの個展を開催し、日本のみならず、諸外国にもファンが多いリアルフィギュアペインターの匠。

　本書で紹介する田川 弘を客観的に皆様に伝えたいと思う。　誤解を恐れずに言えば、人形（フィギュア）を愛でる、という行為は個人的な嗜好のひとつであり、とくに風変りなものではない。たとえば愛車を“相棒”扱いし、大切に扱い、ときには語り掛けるといった行為とさしたる違いはないだろう。　田川 弘は、幼少期より母親が趣味で製作するフランス人形に囲まれ、プラモデルの製作を楽しみ、そして絵画と出会いその道を歩んだ。高校・大学と美術系に進学し洋画を専攻。当時では珍しいイラストタッチでリアリスム・等身大の若い女性をモチーフとして描いていた。そのころの口癖は「人間としての女性を描いているのではない。キャンバスのなかに人形（フィギュア）を作っている」。そして28歳で公募展に初出展し、いきなり大賞を受賞するも、その後は大きな壁にぶつかり10年後には画家への筆を折るに至ったという。そんななか、出会ったのが原型師、林 浩己の『リアル女性ヌードフィギュア』。この人形こそが、まさに立体キャンバスなのではと思い至り、その後はむさぼるように女性フィギュアを買い漁り、塗りまくったという。20年前に開設したホームページのギャラリーが絵画からフィギュア中心へと変わるのにもさして時間はかからなかったという。　田川はフィギュアを塗装するに際し、まず自分なりにそれらのバックボーン・物語を考えるという。そこが決まらないと塗装工程に進めないのだ。塗装に入ると、ときとして感情があふれ出し、涙を流しながら塗り続けることも少なくない。それほどまでの感情移入、それは恋愛感情に限りなく近いものだ。ギリシャ神話で描かれるキプロス島の王ピュグマリオンは、自らが作った象牙の彫像に恋し、愛の女神アフロディテに祈り、人間となったその娘と結ばれたという。田川の生み出すフィギュアへの想いは天上のアフロディテには届かないのかもしれないが、この地上の多くの人々の心を揺さぶり、見る人たちに“恋心”を芽生えさせる、確かな力を宿しているのだ。

Born in Miyazaki Prefecture in 1959. He graduated from Midorigaoka High School attached to Oita Prefectural College of Arts and Culture and entered the Nagoya University of Arts, Department of Painting (Western painting). From 1988 to 93, Winning the Chunichi Exhibition "grand prize" and the "honorable mention award" (Nagoya City Museum). In 1995, encountered the figures works of Hiroki Hayashi and began painting the first "real woman" figure in 1996. Began his career as a figure painter in 2011. The master of the real figure painter holds many personal exhibitions and has many fans not only in Japan but also in many countries out side of Japan.

Without being afraid of misunderstandings, they are one of the ideas, not particularly peculiar. For example, it is no different from treating your car "buddy", treating it with care, and sometimes talking to it.　Since his childhood, Hiroshi Tagawa enjoyed making plastic models surrounded by French dolls his mother made as a hobby. He entered high school, university and art course and majored in Western painting. He drew a realistic, life-sized young woman with a touch of illustration, which was rare in those days. His pet phrase at that time was "It's not about women as human beings. I'm making a figure in a canvas.". At the age of 28, he participated in an exhibition sponsored by the public for the first time, and he suddenly won the grand prize, but after that, he ran into a big obstacle, and 10 years later, he gave up painting as a professional. It was during this time that he encountered the prototypical teacher, Hiroki Hayashi's 'Real Female Nude Figure'. He thought that this doll was really a three-dimensional canvas, and after that, he devoured her figurines and painted them on. It did not take long for the gallery of the website, which was opened 20 years ago, to focus on figures from paintings. Tagawa says that when he paints figures, he first thinks of their backbone stories. If that is not decided, the painting process cannot proceed. Once you start painting, sometimes you get emotional and continue painting with tears running down your face. That level of empathy is infinitely close to romance. According to Greek mythology, Pygmalion, the king of Cyprus, fell in love with the ivory statue he had made, prayed to Aphrodite, the goddess of love, and married her daughter, who had become a human being. The idea of the figure produced by Tagawa may not reach Aphrodite in heaven, but it has a certain power that shakes the hearts of many people on this earth and makes the people who see it sprout the "love."

　多くの人は、幼少期から市松人形などの日本人形やフランス人形、リカちゃん人形やぬいぐるみなど数多くの人形に触れ、それらに愛情を注ぐという行為を通じてモノを大事に扱うことの大切さとともに、疑似的ではあるものの他者との接し方を学んでいく。多くの人は成長する段階で、それらの“代替行為”から卒業してゆく。しかし人形などの、所謂“ひとがた”を模したものたちにひとかたならぬ愛情を注ぐ、という人は決して少なくはない。それは単に美しいものを愛でたい、手元に置いておきたい、はたまた愛心を托す対象であったりと、それこそ人の数だけさまざまな想いがある。ここで紹介した田川がまだ立体をはじめる前の平面作品たちからも田川の「偏愛」がみて取れるのではないか。

Through the act of loving them, they have learned the importance of treating things with care, as well as the pseudo way of interacting with others. Many people graduate from these "substitution act" as they grow up. There are quite a few people who show more than a little affection for dolls and other things that imitate the so-called "Human shape". It is simply a desire to love or keep something beautiful. There are as many feelings as there are people. The works introduced here are the two-dimensional works before Tagawa started to make solid figures. We can probably see Tagawa's "Obsession" from this work.

リアルとキャラクターの狭間に位置するような雰囲気が持ち味の女流造形作家klondike氏原型の作品。今回、田川が塗装の際考えた設定は夜な夜な街を徘徊する美人姉妹、タンとカヲ。彼女たちの心に秘めた大きな夢は、ストリートで唄うこと。ヒップホップミュージシャンとして名を馳せること……。そんなストーリーを想い描きながら製作。黒いニット帽はキットを改造、帽子のシールは自作デカールによる。ブリンブリンネックレスはアクセサリー用チェーンやネイル装飾用小物で製作している。

The original mold by Klondike, a female sculptor. Her mold has a characteristic of being situated between the real and fictional character. Tan and Kao are sisters who prowl the streets night after night. Their big dream is to making a name as a hip-hop musician。This story was created while building this figure. The black beanie is a modified kit parts with the self-made decal. Necklace is crafted with accessory chains and nail ornaments.
