He was born in Rockcastle County Jan. 21, 1935, the son of Sherman and Dovie Shearer Himes. He was a boiler tender at the Blue Grass Army Depot and attended the Brush Creek Holiness Church. He is survived by his wife, An- na Mae Rime'll Himes of Con- way; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Hipies of Conway; two sons, Randall Himes and Jack Himes, and a daughter. Sue Himes,' all of. Green Hill; a brother Cecil Himes of Cartersville, and three sisters; Mae Cofer of Berea, Ruby Mer- rill of Conway and Helen Burdette of Wildie and two grandchildren. Hfc was prece'ded death by four brothers. Services were' conducted Jan. .30 ai Dowell and Martin Funeral Home by Bros. Olen McGuire and Lloyd Anglin. Burial was in the Rimell Cemetery. Pallbearers were Manual McGuire, Brad Proctor, Dale McNew, Burl Ramsey, Gary Abney, James Taylor. Honorary pallbearers were Paul Wheat, Jim Clark, Kenny Himes and Ronnie Reppert. BULLOCK Mrs. Hazel Bullock, 76, of Brodhead died Jan. 27, 1988 at Ephriam McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville after an illness of several weeks. She was born on March 20,' 1911 in Rockcastle County, the daughter of the late Tommy and Minnie Bradley Renner. She was a member of the Ottawa Baptist Church. Austin of Bon Aqua, Tenn.; a daughter; Mrs. Clydene Linville of Henderson- ville, Tenn.; a sister, Mrs. Illie Smalling of LaFayette, Tenn., five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter. Services were held Jan. 29 at the Watson Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Lloyd Masters and Don Jones officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. He is survived by a son, Bryan Renner of Paris, and two daughters Kaye Randolph of Mason, Ohio and Jeannie O'Brien of Winchendon, Mass.; four brothers, R.H. He was a retired conduc- tor for the Louisville and Nashville Railroad and a member of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Vernon. Survivors are: His wife, Mrs. Beatrice Banks Owens of Somerset; a brother, Chester Owens of Cinti., Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. Lena Sowder of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Nettie Wilcox, Mrs. Myrtle Sowder and Mrs. Eva Edrington all of Cinti., Ohio and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons. Robert Lewis Himes, 53, of Conway, died Jan. 27, 1988 at the Rockcastle Hospital.

He was born in Rockcastle County Jan. 21, 1935, the son of Sherman and Dovie Shearer Himes. He was a boiler tender at the Blue Grass Army Depot and attended the Brush Creek Holiness Church.

He is survived by his wife, An-na Mae Rime'll Himes of Con-way; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Hipies of Conway; two sons, Randall Himes and Jack Himes, and a daughter. Sue Himes,' all of. Green Hill; a brother Cecil Himes of Cartersville, and three sisters; Mae Cofer of Berea, Ruby Mer-rill of Conway and Helen Burdette of Wildie and two grandchildren.
