A purse of $200 and a cupwill be presented to the winner in thepolo pony event, covering a distance ofhalf a mile on the turf, with $40 and$20 for second and third place, respec¬tively. Another race will be known as
the Blind Brook, which will bring to thepost a large field of splendid thorough-bieds. The members' judge of pacetrial will not be a race, but a test ofpace and horsemanship. It will cover
