What should I do? What must I do? What do I want to do? However, the way of thinking for highly e�ective people would be: What should I stop to do? What would I never want to do again?

First, you should list out the most important item among these unimportant things. “Stop doing something” can also be a goal, which is no less important than “do something extra”. In addition, try to set a measurable goal, so that you can assess it constantly and be persistent. Even if the results are not satisfactory, at least there is a quantifiable time frame. That means each goal must have a deadline.

Top Woman Golfer Yani Tseng: Never be a One Hit Wonder ChampionFocus on your goal and act now! Success is waiting for you! On the last day of U.S. Arkansas Golf Tournament, the 21-year-old Taiwanese, Yani Tseng, shouted to the world for what it meant by a strong comeback!

Yani said, “By the last few days of the tournament, I wanted to give up.” For Yani Tseng, the girl that boasted of “I will rank World No.1” by 12 years old, she just lost previous Canadian Open Golf Tournament. It was especially unbearable for her to face such a loss again.

“ Then I realized I can’t work like this! At last I took out my notebook and wrote on it: “I can do it!” She refocused on her goal and observed her competitors’ move. Yani told herself, “Who say that I don’t want to win? I come here to win the game!”

On the first day of the final round of tournament, Yani was able to make a birdie (that is scoring one under par for an individual golf hole). She managed to make a comeback stroke by stroke. At the end, she steadily wrote down a birdie for the very last hole and beat all her competitors, winning the champion of LPGA Tour with only 200 strokes. She won the acclaim of being a “Rock Solid player” and “Come-From-Behind Queen”.

Focus on every stroke you make, Forget whether you win or lose No matter it is work or life, “turning a defeat into victory” is always the toughest and least expected, but this can be easily found in Yani Tseng’s game.

From the five championships she won during her three-year professional golf career life, she was in a lag-behind position in the very beginning for four of them but then made a strong comeback on the last round. It is worth mentioning that the average numbers of strokes in the last round taken in all these four games were only 67 strokes. This astonishing result aroused hot talk among the golf community.

“Every stroke counts. Every defeat is beneficial. They all bring good results.”Annika Sörenstam, former golf queen, has given her this advice. This influences Yani a lot and motivates her to carry on even when she is about to fall from high.

Stay Calm Under Pressure, A Prerequisite for Top SportsmanIn the past, Yani was so stressful that she could not sleep well before a game. She would even throw away the golf club whenever she lost. Now, she would hum a song to adjust her mood and focus on how to make another beautiful stroke even she is lagging behind.

For sportsman, a fluctuated mood was mainly attributable to being over-attentive to the result. This was once a reflection on Yani Tseng. In the 2010 Canadian Open, Yani was dispatched by making a disastrous 75 strokes. She burst into tears before leaving the course, almost on a brink of emotional breakdown.

Yani Tseng recalled, “75 strokes was nothing special, it was my accumu-lated stress that reached the breaking point.” Therefore, maintaining a steady emotional state came to be Yani’s top priority of practice, she said, “Life has ups and downs, so does a ball as it is round. When I am moody, the ball can also feel it. I can only focus on every stroke. This is the only thing I can get hold of.” It was but a second’s thought that can bring Yani out to a peaceful mind from a swirl of anxiety.

She has learnt to keep her anger within a distance between 2 holes. Stay calm and focused when she prepares the next swing. The negative thoughts inside her mind needs to quiet down and positive voice gets loud. After passing through such a big challenge, Yani can now endure more severe situations and her passion for golf grows even stronger.

You can always see a shine in her eyes when Yani talks about her beloved golf, “I practice golf to be the World’s No.1 player.” Nevertheless, Yani knows very well that to be No.1 is not a 100-metre run but a marathon. Whether it is the current golf king Tiger Woods, or the former golf queen Sörenstam, you can rarely find inconsistency in their performance. “This is also something I have to work hard on in the next two years.” Yani posed another challenge to herself after leaving her extremely stressful period.

The happiness and glory of 20,000 distributors!The highlight among this year’s events - 2012 Nu Skin Greater China Regional Convention “nu generation, Design your Destiny” was completed in a success in Hong Kong Asia-World Expo on June 15. The Convention has broken numerous records: pre-order sales for the Greater China region reached US$120 billion soon after the sales opened for three hours. This was a record high sales for Nu Skin, such brilliant results amazed the whole world. In addition, the participating distributors all actualized the Nu Skin ‘s Force for Good culture during the event. They together donated HK$10 million to the “Nu Skin Greater China Children Heart Fund” in just one day, a touching action indeed! On the same day, the 20,000 distributors also broke a Guinness world record of forming the world’s longest DNA chain, signifying Nu Skin’s leadership position in anti-aging industry with the ownership of ageLOC technology. We are confident of continuing this leading position in genetic biotechnology in the future.

The participation of 20,000 distributors has made this Convention as one of the biggest conferences in Hong Kong this year. It altogether drove over HK$100 million of economic benefits to the city, therefore this was also greatly supported by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, especially on its preparation and promotion. Nu Skin’s flag was flying high throughout the cruise , creating a sense of grandeur. The passionate welcoming ceremony in those sightseeing spots and exclusive sales in famous shops all attracted the glimpse of passers-by.

Sumptuous Gala Dinner Marry to Nu Skin Every dinner was sumptuous and exceeded our distributors’ expectation. The hot Nanyang night was a preamble for the vigorous Phuket visit. After distributors came back from Phuket and on the way back to Singapore, Nu Skin especially invited a popular singer Xiao Huang Chi to perform on the cruise deck. He was accompanying our Nu Skin distributors for a song while firecrackers released to the starry night. Monita was once an owner of an advertising agency. Since it was common to work overtime and even worked overnight, she felt the increasingly unbearable pressure that gradually weighted her down. In an encounter, she got to know a Nu Skin distributor, and therefore had an understanding of Nu Skin product and its business opportunities. She realized that Nu Skin did not only improve her skin problems, but also giving an even better than those from beauty salon. Because of Nu Skin’s quality products, she searched for more information about a business with Nu Skin and started to promote good products to others. Besides, she believed that she has an advantage in direct selling business with her advertising background. She believes that direct selling has a great business potential.

Monita recalled the first time she came on stage to be recognized as Blue Diamond Executive in the Global Convention. She was so touched at that moment. For her biggest challenge in the business, Monita thought it was reaching consensus within the team, as all of us has di�erent viewpoints, di�erent ways of thinking and background. Monita still believes it is possible to overcome with good listening skills, acting as a role model to lead other distributors to follow her in similar steps. Monita firmly believes in the need to work with passion and treat everyone with a true heart.

Monita talks about her greatest satisfaction from Nu Skin is turning her to be more positive, cheerful and proactive. She also thinks that Nu Skin has a definite advantage with its global presence. Its ever-increasing business network together with a special compensation scheme can also help distributor to make a revenue growth in di�erent markets.

Monita believes that an ideal life is not just working hard for big money, but we should enjoy life with our rewards from work. Monita said Nu Skin helps her to realize this style of ideal life. In the past, she didn't have time to enjoy what she liked, but now with Nu Skin, she can still earn a good income yet with more flexible working hours, allowing her to develop di�erent new interests such as going to countryside, travelling, painting and enjoy family life. She can now truly enjoy her life while getting job satisfaction.

Cherry graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 2005. After her graduation, she joined a multinational company as a financial planner. Later she was introduced to the business platform of Nu Skin, on which there is no geographical limitation. She saw people of di�erent backgrounds and di�erent ages succeed here in Nu Skin. Cherry decided to get involved in the Nu Skin business very quickly and determined to be an international entrepreneur through Nu Skin.

In 2011, she participated in the Success Trip in which one of the functions was to visit a local orphanage. And that was the first time which Cherry visited an orphanage! She still remembered how she spent a happy and meaningful afternoon with those children. They did color painting and dancing together. Cherry deeply understood that even normal people could help spreading the Force for Good culture around the world through Nu Skin when she saw the innocent smiles on the faces of the children. Her mother is the person whom she admires most in her life because she always thinks little of herself but for the benefits of others. Cherry inherited her mother’s determination and she keeps evaluating herself every day, be a better self and never give up! Nu Skin Volunteer TeamHappy Flower Market Trip with the KidsChinese Lunar New Year is a very important traditional Chinese festival. It is the time for the Chinese to gather with their families and friends to enjoy the big day! Nu Skin Volunteer Team brought love and warmth to children in need during this special occasion. On January 19, one of our Volunteer Teams with 10 people brought more than 10 children from the Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children (HKSPC) (http://www.hkspc.org/eng/index.htm) to visit the Flower Market.

This event did not only allow the children to experience the atmosphere of Lunar New Year, but also provided a chance for our volunteers to give their care and love to the kids. Both the children and volunteers spent a joyous morning together!

Bread is a kind of common breakfast for both children and adults. It provides energy for us to get well-prepared for the whole day. On January 7, one of our Volunteer Teams with 10 people brought more than 10 children from the ABM Hong Kong Swatow Baptist Church Community Service Association Limited (http://www.abmsbc.org.hk/) to visit Dodomites Bakery Co. in Kwai Chung and learn the bread-making process. This activity did not only improve children's concentration, but also it provided a chance for volunteers to show their care and love to the kids.

“The event was very meaningful. Both kids and volunteers were very happy. This two-hour events did not only bring us happiness, but also inspired children's creativity.” Pong Kwong Man said.

“The kids are very cute. They are very independent and active. I wish all Hong Kong children could understand that happiness is valuable!” Lee Man Wah said.

“I feel so grateful to participate in this volunteer activity and brought a joyful morning to the kids! And I truly realized the saying of ‘using our lives to give better lives to others’. I am glad to be a member of Nu Skin Volunteer Team.” Vivian Chan said.

“The children were very excited during the activity, volunteers were also cheerful. I would like to thank Nu Skin and ABM for organizing this activity.” Sydney said.

“I was very excited to join the volunteer activity for the first time. We created many smiles for children today. It was very meaningful!” Heng Lim said.

“This was the first t ime I joined Nu Skin volunteer activity. Although the activity just lasted for a few hours, I could truly feel the power of Force for Good. It really created smiles for children.” Annabel Choi said.

Both the volunteers and children were attracted by the great variety of colorful flowers. The scents of flowers were very refreshing!

On March 24, Patrick Yeung, Regional Vice President, Leaderships cum President, Hong Kong & Macau, Nu Skin Greater China, upholds the ‘Force for Good’ spirit and led two of the Nu Skin Volunteer Teams and brought more than 20 children from the ABM Hong Kong Swatow Baptist Church Community Service Association Limited (http://www.abmsbc.org.hk/) to visit the “Children’s Paradise”, Ocean Park, under a beautiful weather. The volunteers brought the kids to visit various exhibition centers and play di�erent rides. They had great joy at the park!

“Actually, I think there are no di�erences between underprivileged children and ordinary ones. If you communicate with them wholeheartedly and showed your care, they were willing to share their personal feelings with you. I really had a great time with the kids. And, I believe Nu Skin and its distributors will continue to uphold the “Force for Good” spirit in order to create 50 million smiles for children every day!” Patrick shared. Through this event, the children did not only broaden their horizons, but also had a valuable chance of getting along with others, thereby enhancing their social and communications skills. Both volunteers and children spent a pleasant day together!

On April 18, one of the Nu Skin Volunteer Teams with 10 people brought more than 10 children from the Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children (HKSPC) (www.hkspc.org/eng/index.htm) to Children Indoor Play Room in Tai Kok Tsui, enhancing both physical and mental health. The children were very interested in the facilities at the Play Room and they played and enjoyed happily during the activity. Nu Skin volunteers taught the children about social manners, and told them about the importance of sharing with others during the lunch.

This event did not only allow the children to develop a habit of doing exercise regularly, but also provided a chance for our volunteers to give their care and love to the kids. Both the children and volunteers spent a warm morning together!

On April 8, two of the Nu Skin Volunteer Teams brought more than 20 children from the ABM Hong Kong Swatow Baptist Church Community Service Association Limited (http://www.abmsbc.org.hk/) to visit Pizza Hut in Lai Chi Kok. During the activity, children visited the kitchen of Pizza Hut where they seldom enter, and learnt how to make pizza. The process was challenging and great fun! Through this activity, children did not only learn more English and Chinese names of the food ingredients, but also knew more about table manners, thereby enhancing their social and communications skills. Both volunteers and children spent a meaningful and pleasant day together!

Nu Skin Volunteer TeamEnjoy Delicious Tea Bu�etOn June 8, one of the Nu Skin Volunteer Teams brought more than 10 children from the Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children (HKSPC) (http://www.hkspc.org/) to enjoy delicious tea bu�et at Park Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui. Those children were very excited when they saw a great variety of food. They were curious about the wide range of food and kept asking volunteers questions. They got along with each other very well.

Through this activity, the children did not only learn the names of di�erent food, but also learnt more about table manners. It was a fulfilling and joyful day! The satisfied smile of every kid was a great gratification to the volunteers.

Nu Skin Volunteer TeamCupcake Making WorkshopOn April 21, two of the Nu Skin Volunteer Teams with 20 people brought more than 20 children from the Children’s Heart Foundation (CHF) to Hong Kong Culinary Academy to attend a Cupcake Making Workshop. The children enjoyed happily during the activity. They asked questions once they encountered any di�culties. Volunteers and kids were getting along very well during the workshop. After the Workshop, kids were holding their cupcakes with big smiles.

This event did not only provide a learning opportunity for those children with heart disease, but also enhanced better communication between the children and volunteers so that our volunteers could give their care and love to them.

On June 24, two of the Nu Skin Volunteer Teams brought more than 10 children from the ABM Hong Kong Swatow Baptist Church Community Service Association Limited (http://www.abmsbc.org.hk/) to visit Ma Wan Park to explore the nature. Those children were very concentrated to listen to the tour guide. And they were curious about every single area of the Park.

Through this activity, the children did not only learn more about environmental protection, but also made their own “butterfly model”. It was a fulfilling and joyful day! Those children were earnest in the tour and learnt a lot. Volunteers were pleased to join this activity with them.
