September 2013
MAYOR’S CORNER
I hope everyone will enjoy the Labor Day holiday Monday, September 2nd! North Olmsted City Hall and other city offices, including the Senior Center, will be closed in observance. A very exciting event is coming to the Barton Bradley Sports Complex over the Labor Day weekend, the North American Gaelic Games Finals. These annual championships kick off on August 30 and will feature more than 1,500 Gaelic football, hurling and camogie competitors. Last chance to take advantage of the fresh produce at the Farmers Market this summer. The market will be in North Olmsted Senior Center/Community Cabin every Tuesday in September from 9:30am – 12:30pm. Finally, the new school year is under way! Please remember to watch out for our youth when driving and watch your speed in school zones. Have a safe and happy September!
Sincerely;
Mayor Kevin M. Kennedy
