The method of recruitment as per notifiedRecruitment Rules is as follows:Deputation.-(a) Officers from the Indian Police Service of the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police in thePB-4 (Rs. 37400-67000/-) and Grade pay of Rs. 8900/-; or (b) Officers of the Central Government/State Governments or Union territories.-(i) holding analogous post on regular basis; or(ii) Officers in the rank of Senior Superintendent of Police or Commandant or Assistant InspectorGeneral of Central Government or State Governments or Union territories with two years regularservice in the Pay Band- 4 (Rs. 37400-67000/-) and Grade pay of Rs. 8700/-; or(iii) Officers in the rank of Second-in-Command (2i/c) or equivalent post in the pay band-3(Rs.15600-39100/-) and Grade pay of Rs. 7600/- with six years regular service; and possessing of thefollowing experience;Experience of 12 years in the field of administration, Planning, execution and establishment inPolicing.Period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediatelypreceding this appointment in the same or some other organisations/ department of the CentralGovernment shall not exceed five years.The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding fifty six years, as onthe closing date of receipt of applications.Selected personnel will have the option to draw their basic pay in the scale of pay of their parentdepartment plus following Allowances admissible during the period of deputation.iv) Trg. Allowance(inclusive Deputation Duty Allowance) @ 30% on basic pay+G.P.v) SDA @ 12.5% on Basic Pay + G.P. for those having all India transfer liabilities.vi) Transport Allowance as per slab.Other Facilities1. Accommodation - Rent free accommodation.2. Medical - There is a dispensary with a Medical Officer and attending staff in

the campus. Medical reimbursement is also admissible for treatment out side the Academy.

3. Education - There is a Central School within the campus catering upto Class-XII (Science). School bus is provided for attending School/college

in Shillong with nominal charge.Welfare - Dry Canteen, Wet Canteen, Dairy Farm, Poultry Farm are
