Dear Parents/Caregivers I trust you all had a relaxing and enjoyable Queen’s Birthday Weekend. The weather has certainly turned and we are grateful that our Cross- Country has been already run. Congratulations to all the students who ran magnificently and now qualify for the Southland Cross- Country next week at Gorge Road. Next week we are holding an evening for parents to come along and hear about Mathematics teaching and learning at school. It is a great opportunity to ask questions and see ways in which you can support the Maths Programme at home. The ILT is again running the KIDZONE Festival from 17-22 July. Tickets are available from iSite or by phoning 211-0895. Have a great fortnight. All did their very best and are congratulated on their efforts. Eleven of these have qualified for the Southland Cross Country Championships being held at Gorge Road on 28 June. We wish them every success. 10yr old Boys: Liam Gurney 10yr old Girls: Lilly Turipa, Alexi Sutton- Thomas 11yr old Boys: Bradley Dickey 11yr old Girls: Teilah-Rose Templeton, Kendra Finnerty, Rio Amies 12yr old Boys: Lewis Thompson, Towa Arnold 13yr old Boys: D’Von Waru 13yr old Girls: Christine Radcliffe It is expected that students wear the uniform with pride and have all the correct items. If for some reason your child has to wear a different item of clothing, please send a signed note along to Mrs Maher explaining this. Please name all items of clothing. CHOCOLATE SALES We are keen to sell the remaining chocolate that we have in the School Office. There will be two Rebel Sports Vouchers of $25 each to the students who sell the most chocolate between now and the 28 June. Please contact the Office if you would like some chocolate to take home and sell. ABSENCE REPORTING Please phone the School Office between 8.30am - 9.15am. These are now due. We do have Automatic Payment Forms available from the Office if you would like to set an Automatic Payment up. The School Donation is voluntary but as you are aware, schools rely on the money collected from these donations to allow us to provide more resources for your children’s education. Payment of this is much appreciated.

MATHS CURRICULUMOn Tuesday 25th June at 7.00pm, we will be holding a Maths Curriculum Evening in Room 1.

This is an information evening to explain what we are presently teaching and assessing in Mathematics. This is a chance for you to ask any questions about an area of Mathematics.

If you are interested in attending, please fill in the form on the bottom of this page and return to the School Office.
