Amendment to postgraduate previous guidelines – “UTM 2008 pindaan 1/2011”
Amendment is based on MQA Circular 1/2013
IMPLICATION
Will increase the quality intake of postgraduate students as the minimum
requirement is CGPA 2.50 compare to previous guidelines which the minimum is

This new guidelines will be impose on and after 1 April 2013
There will be no direct entry from bachelors degree level to doctoral degree level
(fast track) starting on and from 1 April 2013. However ‘conversion’ from Master level
to Phd level can be still be done with a small amendment from previous conversion
requirement
