FOUNDATOON

The instaUation of a precision Buss planer on an adequate foundation and correct blow pipe system will do much to increase the life on the machine. Incorrect installation will cause be aring failure, cramping of machine members, misalignment, wear and loss o l machin9ry tolerances.

·After placing the machine on a solid foundation level by driving cedar

~hingles under the machined feet. Level from the four corners using a machinist level and straight edge. (See page 2 where black arrow shows le veling lo,ation) and then drive cedar shingles along entire length of machine for support. Do not bolt the machine down or grout in the legs, the machine is heavy enough to maintain its loca?ion.
