Bookmark making activity was con-

ducted on 3rd April ’18. Students of

classes II & III made bookmarks with

origami sheets and later students

attached bookmarks in their note-

books for future use . It was a fun

filled activity .

GK AND EVS QUIZZES(5th April 2018)

GK and EVS quizzes were

conducted in class III on 5th

April ’18 . The quiz was con-

ducted to test the previous

knowledge of students.

ORIENTATION PROGRAMME (7th April 2018 )

APRIL-MAY 2018 THE GLOBAL BAGRODIANS

Parents’ orientation programme was held on 7th April

2018 for class I which aimed towards initiating par-

ents into creating a positive connection with their

ward. The resource person Dr. Jagmeet and Ms.

Vibha Bose commenced the session and gave sugges-

tions to how parents can guide their wards.

This session was later addressed by our respected

Vice Principal Ma’am , Mrs. Jaishree Nawani on how

a parent can deal with the common problems that

occur during ones childhood.

FIRST AID BOX ACTIVITY (7th April 2018 )

First aid box activity was organised for the classes I-III by the

school on the occasion of Health Day i.e on 7th April 2018.

Each student carried a box with the basic things required for

the First aid. The teachers informed the students about anti-

septic creams, ointment, bandage, band aid, cotton, etc. to be

kept in the first aid box. The students were also informed

about the importance of first aid.. Students were also demon-

strated the basic steps to be followed in case of an emergency.



SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON BAISAKHI AND

AMBEDKAR JAYANTI(13th April 2018 )


Special assembly was conducted on the occasion of Baisakhi and Ambedkar jayanti on13thApril’18 in which

students of class III participated with great zeal . Baisakhi is a harvest festival. And is known by different

names in different states of India.The assembly ended by paying tribute to Dr. BR Ambedkar.

BLIND FOLD ACTIVITY (13th APRIL 2018)

With the idea of learning new

things in a fun way, Blind Fold

Activity conducted for class I on

13th April 2018. Students were

blindfolded, they touched, felt

and tried to find out the names of

the things. They realised the im-

portance of different sense organs

in a human body.



INTERNAL ORGANS ACTIVITY WITH CLAY (16th April 2018 )


Learning science can be fun with

hands on activities .Clay is an in-

dispensable resource for making

science more hands on and there-

fore , students of class III used

clay to make the vital internal or-

gans of human body. Students

were impressed with themselves

after making all organs, pointed

out different organs and excitedly

described what all they do. This

was learning with fun and they

will retain it for a longer period.

POSTER MAKING COMPETITION (18th APRIL 2018 )

Poster making competition was organised

for classes I , II and III by NKBGS on 8th

April 2018 on the occasion of Earth Day.

The objective of the competition was to

engross the hidden talent through art

wherein the students expressed their feel-

ings in the form of quotation, paintings,

sketch, etc. the results for the competi-

tions are :-

CALLIGRAPHY COMPETITION (ENGLISH)

(19th APRIL 2018 )

and to inculcate habits of good

handwriting among students,

NKBGS organised inter section

INTER HOUSE PAMPHLET DESIGNING ACTIVITY (21st April 2018 )

TONGUE TWISTER ACTIVITY

(25th April 2018 )

Tongue twister activity was conducted on 25 April ’18.Students of

class III spoke different tongue twisters which helped them to

make their communication clear in a fun way.




Mock drill was conducted in school premises on 26th

April’18 in order to make students aware about the precautionary measures that should be

taken at the time of any disaster (earthquake). Two whistles were blown and all the students

from classes 1-10 gathered in the school ground.

A WALK TO THE GARDEN OF SENSES

Nothing is more fun than experiencing the knowledge first hand. Students

had real fun time on their visit to the School’s beautifully articulated Gar-

den of senses. Students touched, felt , smelled and heard the sound of

different type of objects and also saw the different colors, shapes and sizes

of various things.

Books are the best friends of a person and to start reading habits from early age is

an advantage for them to build a strong base. Book Fair was organized for

students of classes I– III on 27th April 2018. Students enjoyed going through new

books and expressed their love for reading.

LABOUR DAY (1st May 2018 )

INTERSCHOOL COMPETITIONS (4th May’ 18)

Special assembly was conducted on 1st May’ 2018 to mark the importance of Labour Day.

The highlights of the assembly were: - Speech on Labour Day

Song on the importance of labour and their dignity

A short skit depicting some plans and schemes made by Government for labourers

The adjective interschool is good for describing

interactions between different schools.

Interschool Competitions play a vital role in moti-

vating students to perform and excel and offer a

lot more reward than just the winning prize.

These competitions offer a chance for partici-

pants to gain substantial experience, showcase

skills, analyze and evaluate outcomes and un-

cover personal aptitude. They also encourage

students to adopt innovative techniques and de-

velop their ideas and skills.

What and how we learn in school determines who we

become as individual and our success throughout our

lives. To make learning interesting and engaging for

students ; in EVS – to explain OUR BODY ,the lesson

was delivered using a skeleton and related videos

which made learning more effective. Students could

connect it with their real life. It was learning with fun

and also incorporated their expression.




A Special assembly was also held on 11th

May’18 through which students learnt about

the importance of Mother’s Day.

RABINDRA NATH TAGORE JAYANTI INTERHOUSE POETRY RECITATION COMPETITION

(7th may 2018)

On the occasion of our great poet, Rabindranath Tagore’s birthday, an Interhouse Poetry Recitation

competition was held in the school’s Multi Purpose Hall on 07/05/18.

The highlights were: -

CARD MAKING ACTIVITY (11th May 2018)

N K Bagrodia Global School set the joyous mood for Mother’s Day with card making activity on

11th May 2018 for classes I , II,and III. The bright splash of colours on paper and beautiful crafts

symbolised the zeal of love of the students for their mothers. The students participated enthusi-

astically in the activity as it gave them an opportunity to showcase their creative talent.




CLASS—ASSEMBLIES

Assemblies have the potential to nurture positive school

ethos that stresses upon self-care and others .It also inflicts

different values among students. Further it develops a feeling

of affiliation and unity among students. In N.K.B.G.S., stu-

dents meet together to share aspects of life that are of worth.

The topics covered for the assemblies were sharing and car-

ing , health is wealth, an ideal student, dignity of labour,

trust, respecting school rules, and to value festivals like

Buddha Purnima. Students staged different items based on

their respective topics. This further motivates students by

positive reinforcement in the form of praise or rewards

awarded in public.
