YEX and NGSE – Interrelation ??

• Both are RI exchange programs • Both belong to the 5th Alley of Service• Participants in both programs are “ambassadors”

==================

• There actually is no interrelation between the Youth Exchange and the New Generations Service Exchange.

• Both programs are different, have different committees on District level and are focusing different subjects and clientele.

• But ….

• …. and we do not see our Rotary programs isolated and we can use the experience and knowledge of all active Rotarians: so the YEOs can assist the NGSE-Os during the early phase of the NGSE Program to build up a NGSE network.

Education and Vocational Training Abroad

Many countries have a tradition in vocational training abroad since many centuries.

•Young journeymen hiked through Europe to learn about their craft at different placesbefore they finally settled. •Merchants sent their heirs to partner companies in other countries for training.•Students interrupted their university studies to learn abroad.
