    Mr. Carter has 20 years of experience in the

    financial service industry. Under Mr. Carters

    leadership, 1st Mariner Mortgage became one theof the leading mortgage lenders in the MidAtlanticRegion with annual production exceeding $1billion in closed loan volume. Mr. Carter was alsoPresident of VA Mortgage.Com, the InternetMortgage Division of 1st Mariner Mortgage, whichprovides mortgage services nationwide.

    Frank Neubauer

    Frank Neubauer is responsible for the training and

    management of over 600 NGFS loan officers across the

    country. He is a financial services expert with over 40 yearsof in the banking and finance industry. As President and CEOof Taneytown Bank and Trust, Mr. Neubauer grew the banksassets from $140 million in 1992 to $300 million at the timeof its sale in 1998. During that time he led the efforts formajor initiatives in technology, the introduction of a sales

    culture, the purchase of a mortgage company, theacquisition of the deposits of a savings and loan institution,and the establishment of an insurance agency and a trustalliance.

    History

    NGFS was formed through the joint efforts of1st Mariner Bank of Maryland and InstitutionalMarketing Services to create a delivery channel

    for financial strategies that blend traditionalbanking products and services with insuranceand estate planning products and services. Thestrategies are applicable to almost everyone,

    including consumers who have generally beenignored by the financial planning community.

    NGFS uses creative financialtechniques that have a proven abilityto help consumers achieve their

    financial goals. These goals couldrange from paying off their mortgageearly, funding a family member's

    Reverse Mortgages are the fastest growing segment of

    the mortgage market. Each of the last several yearshas seen the number of Reverse Mortgages

    consummated more than double that of the prior year.The market for Reverse Mortgages is expected to be inthe growth stage for the remainder of the workingcareer of most experienced financial professionals. Thisis in part due to what has been referred to as the

    Aging of America..For example, for the first time inthe history of America, there will be more people overthe age of 60 than under the age of 30and babyboomers will be turning 60 for the next twenty years!

    More recently we have expanded our recruitingto include experienced Reverse Mortgage LoanOfficers as part of the development of a

    national support effort for programsimplemented by NGFS.

    Individuals who join NGFS in this capacity havethe opportunity to become employed as a full-time loan officer with a comprehensive benefitpackage and are classified as Direct LoanOfficers.
