• Replanned WBS 3.5• Science case requirements converging• Instrument work prioritized by key items:

– NIR Deployable IFU/imager

– Coronagraphs in the NIR and Visible Imagers

• Optical and mechanical engineering resources will be used for concept development

• Current overall replan presents some problems with timing in relationship to other activities that interact closely with instruments

• Planning to work closely with AO design team on object selection and high order correction for deployable instrument

• Planning to deliver reports on each instrument in two revision cycles• Planning to support overall cost estimation process, but instrument

costing will still be at a “ROM” level
