2020 Deb Ball

The Deb Ball has been booked for 2020 and will take place on the 19th June 2020. Trainings will take

place over approximately a 6 week period leading up to the ball. Students will need to be available

Wednesdays after school and Sunday afternoons. Thank you to all students and parents who have

returned their expressions of interest forms. We are still open to taking any forms if students would

still like to participate. The next Deb Ball will be in approximately 3-4 years. It is open for students

from year 9, 10, 11 & 12 and is always a very enjoyable experience for our families, our school and

our community. Could you please fill out the form below if you are interested in participating in our

much anticipated Debutante Ball in 2020.

Hands on Learning Finally the HoL team had a beautiful day last Friday for their program with lots of students making the final

touches to their projects. Maddi finished her father’s day present while Bailey and Cori learnt how to use a

sander safely and correctly. Kurtis was our head chef producing a delicious chicken fried rice. Kurtis was

our MVP for helping the girls with their project and making improvements to his focus plan of holding as

conversation.

Book Week Thank you to all our families who came along to celebrate Book Week, our students had a wonderful

day and really love having their families come to school to celebrate with them! We had some

wonderful dress ups and the kids looked amazing.

Middle Years Art Bailey, Alex, Keegan and Kurtis are using the tie die technique to decorate their socks. They are using

sharpies to make their designs then putting a specialised liquid over the top to tie die the colours. I

think we will need a crazy sock day to celebrate when they are complete!
