Harmony Day We will be celebrang Harmony Day on Thursday 19 th March and ask that all students wear orange to school on this day. This will also coordinate with the Kinder Orange Colour Day. Harmony Week is a me to celebrate Australian mulculturalism, and the successful integraon of migrants into our community. Australia is one of the most successful mulcultural countries in the world and we should celebrate this and work to maintain it. The message of Harmony Week is everyone belongs. It is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguisc background, united by a set of core Australian values. OoSH Bus We would request that parents please communicate any changes to studentsOoSH rounes to our front office eg. sick, not aending. We do not receive this informaon from the provider and it is important that the list of students we have aending OoSH each day is accurate and current. Kanga Kids We have introduced a new playground inave to acknowledge students demonstrang excellent behaviour in this seng. Staff distribute raffle ckets throughout the week to students who are showing behaviour based on our core values and are following our school rules. At each Monday morning assembly, three Kanga Kids ckets will be drawn out of the collecon box. These students will receive an ice-block from the canteen. A larger end-of-term prize of a $25 giſt card will also be drawn from all ckets entered at our final Monday morning assembly for the term. Have a great week! PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Kinder Orange Day Thursday, 19th March is Orange Day for Kindergarten. Kindergarten students may come to school out of uniform, wearing orange coloured clothing. If students do not have anything orange to wear, they may still come out of uniform and bring an orange item to school.

Birthday Cupcakes The canteen offers a birthday cake service

for families to provide birthday cupcakes

for your child to share with their class

mates, on their birthday.

The cupcakes are iced and cost $15 for the whole

class.

One day notice required for all orders.

Cash or cheques accepted (cheques made

payable to North Haven Public School

Canteen). EFTPOS or online payment is not

available for birthday cakes

Please ring Trish in the canteen on 6559 9261 to

place your order.

Easter Raffle Each year the P&C conducts an Easter raffle which is drawn after the Hat Parade. The prize is a yummy basket of Easter goodies. Raffle ticket books will be sent home to families next week. Please support this fundraising activity and the wonderful work done by our P&C by selling a book of tickets and by donating chocolate eggs, bunnies or Easter craft. Any donations can be put into class canteen tubs to count for class prize.
