A A Message from the Teachers

It is hard to believe that the end of the school year is almost here. It seems like only yesterday that we were setting off on our preschool adventure together! It has been a pleasure to be part of your children’s tremendous growth this year.

For all of our students moving on to new learning experiences, we will enjoy our last few weeks of fun with you. For those who will be returning to us in the fall, we look forward to another great year together! We appreciate the opportunity to continue being part of your children’s learning journey.

In June, some themes will be Growing our Classroom Garden, Bugs, Teddy Bears and Graduation (for our Pre-K students). Highlights will be taking our teddies and stuffies on a Teddy Bear’s Picnic and celebrating all of our favourite colours on Rainbow Day. There will be a small Graduation ceremony for our Pre-K students on Wednesday, June 19 when parents are welcome during the last 20 minutes of class. We will finish the year with a party at Lion’s Park on Friday, June 21 for all of our preschool families. Cross your fingers for good weather!

We send a special thank you out to all of the board members for their additional efforts to keep the many parts of our preschool rolling!

Resort! We had 17 families entered in the prize drawing for selling $150 or more.

With your help, and the help of this great local company, we raised $940 to keep our programs enriching for children and affordable for families.

End of Year Party

Friday, June 21

Lions Park, 10am – 12pm Ms. Tangle will be putting on a show for us from 10-10:30 so don’t be late! 10:30-11:30 we’ll have bouncy castle, bubbles, face painting, and freezies. Some families bring a picnic and stay after. Fingers crossed for sunny weather! We will have a back-up location in case of rain, and we will send out an email that morning if we need to move the party indoors.

Pre-Kindergarten Graduation

Wednesday, June 19

Parents of Pre-K students, please join us 20 minutes early at the end of class this day. We would like to celebrate your child moving on to Kindergarten! 11:25-11:45am for Morning PreK classes. 3:10-3:30pm for Afternoon PreK.
