It is official that Saxby Chambliss will not seek third term. The only two of the sitting housemembers that I could consider for that positionwould be Graves and Broun. If it is one of theothers start finding a candidate, but rememberthat Saxby spent $10M in 2008 and almost gotbeaten by a Democrat.

Teachers Dont Get to Choose Their Students!

Neither do children get to pick their parents. Next time before you complain about Teachers or schoolsinability to teach all those well-mannered darling children fostered into their care for a few hours each dconsider the evidence:

The event captured at a local restaurant is not an untypical evenas frequently witnessed by yours truly.

Not in the picture is Dad, who directed his little darlings to climbup in a chair, then across a table and pose for a picture with Mr.

    Mushroom.

If Dad is encouraging unsafe, bad mannered, wild behavior inpublic, then what good behavior expectations are there for thesechildren in school. In a climate, that requires a level of self-Disipline, and safety for themselves and others.

God help the Teachers, because the parents arent!

Maybe if we spent a little more time paying attention to events athey unfold around us, we might develop a better understanding

the real world. Not the one we sometimes think we live in. Advichave to remind myself of, on occasion.

Shock Claim: The New Litmus Test Of Leadership InThe Military Is If They Will Fire On US Citizens Or Not

    Mac SlavoJanuary 22nd, 2013SHTFPLAN .COM

Read by 20,966 peopleHad the following comments been made on a fringe corner of the internet most would dismiss them asoutright conjecture. However, what you are about to read comes from one of the worlds foremostphilanthropists, Jim Garrow, who has SPENT TENS OF MI LLI ONS OF DOLLARS OF HI S OWN MONEYto help ove35,000 Chinese baby girls from near certain death under Chinas one-child-per-couple policy.

He was one of the 206 nominees for the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize, which was ultimately awarded toPresident Barack Obama.

Garrow, who has friends in high places, including the U.S. military, made a startling claim on his Faceboopage Sunday, which if true, should leave no doubt about why the Obama administration is moving fullforce to seize firearms from law abiding Americans and why the US governments law enforcement andsecurity assets have been making preparations for years I N ANTI CIPATI ON OF SOCI AL BREAKDOWN ANDWI DESPREAD CIVI L UNREST.

According to Garrow, the Obama administration has been rapidly retiring or re-assigning US militaryleaders based on a new litmus test of their loyalty:

I have just been informed by a former senior mili t ary leader t hat Obama is using a new

litm us test in det ermining who w il l stay and who must go in his mil it ary leaders. Get readto explode folks.

The new litm us test of leadership in the mil itary is if t hey wil l f ire on US cit izens or not .

Those w ho w ill not are being removed.

    DR.JI M GARROW JANUARY 21 ,2013

PAUL JOSEPH WATSON OF I NFOWARS notes that this new litmus test comes at a time when millions ofAmericans are already suspicious of the governments motives behind a number of actions, including themost recent push to disarm the population:

Garrows claim is even more explosive given that the country is in the throes of a national debate aboutgun control, with gun rights advocates keen to insist that the founders put the second amendment in the

Constitution primarily as a defense against government tyranny.

It also follows REPORTS ON SUNDAY that General James Mattis, head of the United States CentralCommand, is being told to vacate his office several months earlier than planned.

Response t o Ot her people s kids

    Comment ary by J . J . Miles

I have j ust complet ed t he most r ecent version of t he newslet t er (# 381). I t hink it is

anot her well done issue br inging out f act s about people, places, and t hings impact ing

our communit y t hat we would not necessarily get anywhere else. I t hink in t imes like

t hese it is especially impor t ant f or us t o know what is happening in our local

government s allowing us t o hold t he elect ed account able and make sure t hey are bein

good st ewards of our monies.

I dont always agree wit h everyt hing you publish, be it yours or someone else s

t hought s, and usually t ake it wit h a grain of salt . Today however I did t ake issue wit h

your r esponse on t he Hey Henr y f r om J an. 23 rd. The response was t it led Ot herpeople s kids . Oh, how were t hey raised? . This was in regards t o t he post about

Henry BoE employees not r eceiving r aises going on seven years. Your newslet t er

suggest ed t hat t he employees should st op whining like childr en and buy a clue . As

t he spouse and son of t eachers I must say t hat I am disappoint ed wit h your r esponse

What t he Hey Henr y post does not not e is t hat t hose same t eachers wit hout t he p

raise have also under gone f urlough days (except dur ing t he elect ion year f or some

reason), dr ast ic increases in t heir healt hcare cost , layof f s, larger class sizes, longer

days (st ar t s next year ), cut s in t heir class room budget s (mine buys her own supplies

paper , ink, et c), and a whole bunch of new processes and procedures t hat add t o t hei

    inst ruct ion t ime.

Normally I agree wit h most st at ement s about wor k and being grat ef ul f or j obs and

paychecks especially wit h an 8+% unemployment rat e. However I can t ell you t hat wit

    t he hour s some t eachers put in t o t heir j obs and wit h t heir r at e of pay t hey are

making f ar less now t han t hey were six years ago. I also hear about t eachers leaving

t he f ield because it is no longer about inst ruct ing t he st udent t o t he school syst em,

but document ing somet hing f or a bur eaucrat . Many of t hem t oday f eel t hat t hey are

not doing what t hey were called t o do all t hose year s ago.

I can t respond t o t his and not ment ion t he children. When you and I were in school w

had respect f or our t eachers and school st af f . We wor ked hard t o get good grades

and t o behave or we were punished and would have t o apologize. Lar r y, wit h t he

except ion of a ver y small amount of Henr y Count y f amil ies t his is somet hing of t he

    past . Today t he st udent is lucky t o have br eakf ast , lucky t o have a coat , lucky t o hav

a book bag, and lucky t o even have someone wake t hem up and get t hem ready f or

school. I can t begin t o t ell you t he pencils, paper , and ot her school supplies t hat we

have purchased over t he years. These are t hings you have t o do so t he t eacher can d

    t heir j ob.

Today s school t oo many parent s is a babysit t ing service f or many in our count y and

t hey j ust do not care. The adult s and children bot h have an ent it led at t it ude t hat t h

deserve success wit hout t he ef f or t . They get t heir r ide t o school paid f or, t hey get

    t heir f r ee lunch, and t hey get t heir f r ee r ide home. Many expect f ield t r ips and ext r

t hings wit hout helping wit h t he cost . Also dont ask f or parent involvement . Out of a

class of 27 st udent s it is not unusual t o only have 15%-20% par t icipat ion f r om parent

The ot hers do not have t ime t o be bot her ed.

Regar dless of t he st udent or t he par ent t he success and f ailure of t he t eacher is

based on t est ing. Many in t he count y will say a t eacher was good or bad based on t he

score t heir childr en receive on one t est . So based on all of t he above I do t hink it is

ok t o do a lit t le whining. I don t agree wit h not doing t heir j ob, but I can underst and

They are asked f or more and more and given less and less and t hey are st il l t here f o

t he kids. Bot h of t he t eacher s I know love t he children and want t he best f or t hem.

That is f ar more t han many in t his count y can say.
