NEWSLETTER 2018.04.13 NEW REPORT – STREET MANAGEMENT A Full House for Launch of “Managing Vibrant Streets” More than 70 aendees, including a dozen members of the news media, filled a packed room on 11 April for the launch of “Managing Vibrant Streets.” Co-authors Carine Lai and Antonio Da Roza presented their findings, which called for the Government to improve its management of crowded pavements to control problems such as noise and overcrowding, while promong the city’s famously vibrant street life. Civic Exchange Programme Director Michele Weldon moderated a lively discussion between the audience and a panel of experts, including Jennifer Walker Frisinger (Walk DVRC CEO), Christopher Law (Architect and Civic Exchange Walkability Expert) and Ada Wong (Make a Difference Instute Founder and Director). Civic Exchange's Chairman Evan Auyang and CEO Winnie Cheung also delivered remarks on the importance of walkability in the city.
