    THE PURPOSE OF SLOPE PROTECTION PIPE DRAIN IS TO CONVEY SUBSURFACE WATER

    FROM THE SLOPE IN A MANNER WHICH WILL NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SLOPE.

    THE SLOPE PROTECTION PIPE DRAIN TREATMENT SHALL ONLY BE USED AS ORDERED

    BY THE ENGINEER (A.O.B.E.) BASED UPON WRITTEN RECOMMENDATION OF THE REGIONAL

    GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER.

    THE UNDERDRAIN PIPE MUST BE PLACED BELOW THE SEEPAGE PLANE, IN THE

    BE DETERMINED AT THE TIME OF CONSTRUCTION.

    THE ENGINEER (A.O.B.E.) AND AS DICTATED BY CONDITIONS AT THE TIME OF EXCAVATION. THE

    INDICATED DIMENSIONS ARE MINIMUM AND MAY BE INCREASED BY THE ENGINEER IN CHARGE.

    THE PIPE UNDERDRAIN SHOULD HAVE A MINIMUM PITCH OF 2%. THE PIPE MUST BE
