We want to encourage you as it cannot be emphasized enough that we would like nothing more than to see this event be as well

attended as Pow Wow. Come share with us the warmth and glow of the campfire as we praise and worship our almighty God in the majesty of the great outdoors.

This is the perfect way to kick off your camping season with a Royal Rangers Outpost spring campout. The FCF hosts

the event and leaders can sit back, relax a little and know that the Adirondack Chapter will provide many activities for the boys and leaders. Every Ranger is invited to come… This includes guests, pastors and leaders. This event not only gives us the

opportunity to connect and fellowship with others, it gives Rangers, their friends and leaders the exposure to be introduced to FCF, experience a 1700’s frontier life style, have fun, but most of all, meet up with the Holy Spirit. You will be blessed at our evening council fires fellowship & worship.

Modern camping technology is welcome. There will be a designated camping area adjacent to the FCF Village for FCF members and non-members or outposts that do not have period equipment, yet still can be and feel part of the event festivities. Just remember all campers, including FCF members need to plan your own meals as this is not included as part of the event.

Spring Trace EVENT INFORMATION

Permission Slips and Medical Treatment Forms: These forms have been provided for your convenience. All guests (non FCF or unchartered Royal Ranger boys or Adults) and RR boys under age 18 must complete a ‘Guest / Visitors’ or ‘Permission Slip’.

Although these forms will not be collected, the outpost / group leader will be required to present all forms at the time of registration as evidence to assure that all documentation is signed, properly completed and readily available in the event of an emergency. A copy of your outpost’s ‘Medical Treatment Forms’ are acceptable in lieu of the one provided.

Medical Emergencies: All campers with medical problems should be taken to the First Aid Station for immediate attention. Please register all prescription medications with the individual assigned to the First Aid Station. This will aid in emergencies and prevent any questions of controlled substance abuse.

Staff Applications and Reference Forms: All FCF leaders must be current with their forms prior to the event. LEADERS WHO ARE NOT, WILL BE REQUIRED TO REGISTER AS A GUEST, complete a GUEST/VISITORS PERMISSION FORM AND WILL NOT PERMITTED TO ENGAGE IN ANY FCF ACTIVITIES INVOLVING MINORS. Swap / Trading: Bring along your patches, craft projects or other trade items you have to swap. You will always find someone to trade with you. Leaders and older boys, please remember that many of the younger boys may not understand the value of some items. It is up to you to make sure all trades are fair.

FCF Skills: All members should have or should be developing a frontier skill or trade. We are encouraging all members to have and demonstrate your trade at every event. Be a MENTOR to help others develop their persona/trade.

Camp Setup: To help maintain the Frontier themes of this event please make an effort to keep all modern camping equipment out of sight. This would include all plastics, including rope, aluminum, coolers, gas lanterns and stoves, flashlights, etc.

Parking: After unloading your gear at the campsite, please return your vehicle to the designated parking area as soon as possible. No vehicle are permitted at the sites after 9:00 pm Friday nor during any times outlined the “Schedule of events”

FCF Mercantile: Will be open throughout the event. The good news is that there has been a few members who have stepped up to help serve as ‘Store-Keepers’. There will be an adjustment period as these members undertake this task and the store is re-stocked.

Going forward the store will also be going through some transformation: Only essential FCF items will be stocked; Membership may now place personal items in the store to be sold. (only quality items accepted); and Members individual trade skills items will be an essential part of the items sold at the store.

Note - A consignment fee/donation of 10% will be collected from the price of an item sold. Items must be picked up at the end of the event, as the store will not be responsible for lost items.

Greater emphasis and dependence on members will be made to develop personal frontier trade skills and provide them for the store to be sold. This will help to stock the store and give opportunity for such items to receive considerable exposure. As such, the attraction and success of the store will be a shared membership responsibility.

Frontier Auction: The Adirondack Chapter has given significantly each year and God has truly blessed our Chapter and its members for being missions minded. Please bring quality items to donate.

Our frontier auction is not only a lot of fun, but has proven to be a great way to raise funds for our chapter and for missions support. The success or failure of the auction solely depends on you!

Another benefit is that it also provides another way to help perpetuate FCF by giving Chapter members of all ages the opportunity to obtain items for their personal development.

100% of funds raised goes directly to missions. In addition, a portion of these funds will be earmarked to support Chapter members participating in a missions’ events. To learn more, go to the NYMN Royal Rangers website nyroyalrangers.org
